I need to talk about Su Han because WOW. This guy is a walking contradiction and I love it. He's this cold, efficient Frost Squad captain who constantly scans Wen Lan with his psychic abilities, and yet the SECOND she compliments his singing voice, his ears turn red. RED. Like, you can literally see him short-circuiting. The author doesn't even spell it out — it's just this tiny physical detail that says everything about how flustered he is. And Wen Lan? She's playing the long game. She knows he's scanning her, she knows something is up, but instead of confronting him she's strategically feeding his ego so he'll keep humming those nursery rhymes. That's not naive; that's tactical. Their whole dynamic is this incredible push-pull of mutual suspicion and unspoken attraction. He's watching her without her knowing (or so he thinks), she's watching him watching her, and neither will admit it. Then you have the squad dynamics which are honestly the most wholesome thing in this entire apocalypse. Zhang Ye offering his apartment, the banter about who gets to sleep where, Wen Che's protective instinct — these people are a found family in the truest sense. Wang Hui's subplot with her parasitic younger brother and parents is also brutal character work. She's a special squad member with 1000 points to her name and her family still treats her like an ATM. The contrast between her professional competence and personal exploitation is devastating. And Zhou Wen just quietly tending his plants in his tiny apartment? That's a man who found his peace in a world that took everything else.

Good story with good character but there are, in my opinion, two major problem: the first one is just the fact that, for me, some description are sometime too long like the one when all the most powerful NPC met to see if everyone has a student. But the biggest problem I have with this story isn't just in this one bit in lot of others too, it's about the future rival in love you spoke about. In all the LN the MC needs to fight against problem, he needs to resolve problems but in novels like this one where love is a really important part I think that making the relation growing steadily without too much external elements can be better because introducing a love rival will just be unpleasant and uncomfortable to see because even if its just a story when you see how much the MC loves Amanda, making him suffer (in the future) with a rival is just sadistic so I think that if you have a bit of empathy for the MC when you read a novel I just advise you to search for another LN because this one is great but in the future it might become unpleasant and the fact that we might need to wait between two chapters at crucial time could be really unpleasant. I might be overthinking but it's just my opinion. But overall it's well written.

Hey guys, I just realized the first review of my novel that I personally and shamelessly made was all in caps. Anyway, as you can see, this a new novel I am working on.
I don't know what to say. The country exam arc is the best arc I have read in any CN. The characters were fleshed out better Yan even with few words became a favourite characters. Fang Zhenghi in this arc had a good personality. He had a good grasp about Dao but lacked experience and techniques. It gave a good grasp about what a talented but inexperienced person looks like. He was intelligent and cunning. The fight between Yan Xao and Fang was very interesting and fun. His reputation of shameless was only propaganda. Now comes the bad part. Fang's personality begins to degrade. Despite, being stronger he begins to use unnecessary tools to make a fool out of himself. The first time he used against Yan was necessary because he was getting pushed back but against Mu it was unnecessary. He really becomes shameless like a generic MC and a coward. He was never coward before the imperial exam. But now he says he better run. The Demon arc is the last straw. He begins to cry and tells that he only wanted to be carefree and live in peace when captured. If he wanted to live peacefully then why live the village. His personality does a 180. From a good MC he becomes generic MC.If he was always like that I wouldn't have cared but seeing his degradation aches my heart. Dao is not further explained. Techniques used in country exam are abandoned for more generic and useless technique. Also, the biased he face is astonishing. Chi and Hao are in same realm as Fang but people act as if he would never match them. I mean Fang was matching when he was a realm apart now he could surely beat them. No matter what he does he is always ridiculed. Despite, topping everything he is still looked down upon whereas Chi and Hao are revered despite doing the same. Emperor says Chi is not of royal blood and the position of Hou was because of ber daughter but why is she a genius but MC nobody? Also the enemity of King Duan and Crown Prince wity MC makes no sense. Upto Ch 117 it is a very good novel but after that it is garbage.

What kind of dogs**t novel this is man. Mc doesn't have a backbone at all, he is just a useless dog who doesn't do a damn thing to people after they humiliated him and even threatened to kill mc countless times. Mc b***h of a wife keep slapping mc but all the dog mc does is nothing but feel guilty for her. Guilty for what. A complete brain dead novel. Author is such a loser man and nothing else. He knows nothing and keep making mc humiliated and ridicule,no decency in any character at all.Also all the reviews in here feel like bot commented and nothing else coz story is dogs**t.
