I don't like this new "locked chapters ordering" so I gave this 1 star. Simply because I'm afraid that if this monetization model performed better, they'll start putting this new order of "locked chapters" model on ALL the new novels, and I'm not rich enough to survive that.
at the point in time of this review, the ordering is roughly:
-chapter 1-3 free
-chapter 4-20 locked
-chapter 21-36 free
-chapter 37-40 locked
ANYTHING FOR THE PLOT because the readers here are stupid they will read whatever you write because they are bunch of losers because they like faceslaping and becoming rich and reach at the top of the world where everyone will envy you, girls will be screaming that they want your babies and since the writer is Chinese all the countries like US UK France India Japan Korea are basically dumb and since this is a cooking novel so all the chef's in the world will kneel before him and he will fulfill his propaganda of China's CCP by belittling everyone around the world. But well that's why most of the people are reading this aren't you?????
alright now this book is ruined. I don't know why authors have to introduce love life in novels with these type of concepts. I think without love it would've been a wonderful novel. the girl is clearly forcing herself on Shawn for no reason at all. Then all that cringey blushing and all it gives me goosebumps. are these authors loners in real life and do not know women I mean they totally show that girls are like cats with curiosity they like to do whatever they want.
So far so good. The writting is consistant and the character is interesting. I cannot wait for more!
The only thing that is weird iS that the autors name is 9 dragons and The MC only has 7!

honestly incredibly difficult to get through. I like the concept but the execution is truly horrendous. it needs much polishing in order to be decent
Quite interesting. There's already enough world building in the first 2 chapters that you could already get the feel of the world view of the characters.
Also the concept of Qi being discovered through a mutation is interesting. Qi has always been a concept that is capable of destroying worlds in various novels, and yet Qi in this novel seems like it's just a means to make life easier and live longer.
Already a novel with great potential.
I saw this novel on my recommended and I was pleasantly interested in the synopsis and I thought I would try it out.
For some reason however there was a huge disconnect when I tried to read the first few chapters of the story. The first chapter was jarring enough with no background or context given for any of world or charecters but the second chapter seemed to skip a whole portion of the story and made me think I had missed a chapter.
I would personally not recommend this novel but I still wish the author well and I hope others can get some enjoyment out of the author’s writing.
Amazing how the story has developed and how it is going, every day I look forward to the new chapter that is released. Amazing story you have here, keep up the good work
