short review:
A good SOL novel. Maybe Dark SOL? Mc ain't dense and pussy unlike most SOL novels. Badass mc with likeable daughter.
long review:
pros:
1) A good SOL novel. Basic concept similar to most novels though the execution of the plot is entertaining
2) This is a little dark novel. But also has fluffy side. Contradictory huh? Read it and you might understand.
3) A badass, savvy & OP mc.
4) The writing is simple and easy to understand. TL is doing a good job for now with the translation.
5) Characters even though not properly fleshed out, it isn't bad to the point it's unreadable.
6) the interactions between the characters are better than most novels out there. Though it exactly doesn't feel real, the interactions between the mc and his daughter never fails to put a smile on my face at the end of the chapter
7) No probs with pacing. Nothing seems out of place.
cons:
1) [NOT REALLY A CONS] As mentioned above this novel has a dark side despite the fluffy romance moments. (This depends person to person, for me a pro.)
2) [NOT REALLY A CONS] Inconsistent update! Really hate it!!! (7ch/d for og) & (14ch/d for tl). But this is my personal scale so you might as well ignore it.
3) There are few typo errors, though it's not to the point that it's unreadable. No prob with grammar..
4) Greedy WN & TLs locked this novel only after 4 chaps!! This sucks. That's why deducted points from updates.
5) Even though the interactions are awesome, we many times fail to grasp the emotions and facial expressions of the characters, since it's never mentioned what expressions the characters really have on their face.
6) No world build up and no plotline as of now. One can guess some plotlines tho but we know nothing of this world!

Conclusion:
An amazing SOL novel with excellent potential; the only prob being updates! Hope to see regular updates in this one... Chapter 1 will be enough to hook most of you to this novel.

- MC is SUPER OP! But also kinda submissive to his daughter... Can be seen as his love for his daughter (fatherly love no Incest!!!)

I only gave 3 stars to story development and character design. This is your average novel and it is already 38 chapters on RoyalRoad and it is the extremely slow pace.
I felt potential in this novel and it is fucking too normal. MC is pretty calm and his past self is plainly stupid but he became mature after that.
This novel has so much potential but author only used typical trophies that you can find.
The problem of this novel is too slow and the chapters are very short.
I recommend future readers. come back here after this novel's chapters accumulate to over 100 chapters.
Excellent storyline. brilliant characters and descriptions used to take you on a fully immersive journey following a young man and his dreams. I highly reccomend this book!
I think I started this novel a few months ago and abandoned it. Now I wish I could go back and slap my past self. I am loving the story so far.
Pros:
The author does a great job of balancing real life and the virtual world. Romance is nice and doesn’t feel forced. It is a harem, but hopefully it doesn’t go the Qing Shui route. Alpha MC who knows how to treat the ppl he cares about.
Characters are fleshed out and the author does a great job of slowly revealing the MCs past, so you can understand the choices Xie Feng makes and his thought process.
The fight scenes are fun and exciting. They are vivid enough that I can imagine being there and short enough that I haven’t gotten irritated and skipped chapters.
I just started the novel, so I can’t say anything about stability updates.
Cons:
Grammar could be improved, but it’s not on the scale of sentencing the author to grammar prison.
There aren’t 1,000+ chapters to feast on.
Conclusion: If you like action, virtual reality, romance, harem, fantasy, I would definitely recommend picking up this novel.
I like the concept and adore VRMMORPGs. I can see the potential and would love to see the MC being smart and having smart schemes. All in all there is good potential so you should have a read and see for yourself!
Somewhat interesting, but terrible execution.
The entire game makes no sense. It’s ruined by pay to win elements such as: 1) most powerful characters require absurd amounts of money to play and free characters can never surpass them; 2) costs absurd amounts of money to revive (‘free’ characters cost $2 per level, and it only goes up exponentially depending on the grade or type of character); 3) literally everything in the game costs money. Want to revive your ally? Cha-ching! Open your own dungeon? Cha-ching!
Not to mention the fact that a level 48 character (one of the highest in the game) is unable to take on more than 5 level 10-15 characters in the starting area even though their gear is significantly better.
A three skeleton boss can’t even take on a one star hero healer and a two star tank with a few randoms, yet apparently the game is balanced.
Essentially, the game makes no sense, and everything is one dimensional. Whether something is strong or not depends on what suits the author’s plot.
Don't underestimate this Novel. This is like One-Punch Man. I've read a lot of similar novels and only a few come close to this Quality. Everything well-thought and well-written. [So far]
These 60 chapters left with a lot of unanswered questions so I'd really like it translated. It also worries me since we don't know the Author intentions.
This story is very slow at first so I'm not sure what the Author goal here is exactly but so far I like it. He either has something big plan or not. But I can also see it's picking up the pace. [img=coins]
If you're an experience reader you can probably sense Character Developement but where it's going I'm not sure.
