Honestly the story is well written in comparison to many others out there but the Author should really work on his depiction of the main character's character as well as habits and train of thoughts. The way he handles issues is off-putting to say the least. His thought process is irrational and dumb and he tends to make seemingly "smart" choices but in depth investigation shows that his choices are actually rather stupid and don't seem progressive. He takes constant loses in dealings and is honestly a character without an ounce of spleen. He can be said to be somewhat of a sycophant and this is till chapter 70 as thats where I reached before nearly puking blood from the frustratiion the mc is causing me. Other than the main character I have loved everything about the novel so far.
I highly appreciate the author and would like to encourage him to keep putting out chapters but to also work on this mc's character cause it really prevents people from reading the book when his character is this off putting in the beginning.
I was really looking for an enemies to lovers kind of book, and I'm so happy I came across this. The banter between Genevieve and Alec is very entertaining, and you did a good job at decieving readers (in a positive way lol). One chapter i felt like they were finally getting along, and then the next, they hate each other again. Amazing ❤️
Author runs out of ideas and vision by chapter 70 lol. All of his sect mates suddenly become just as overpowered like the MC somehow with magical encounters and hidden backgrounds to instantly power them up. Haven't read very far but the sect leader is apparently a hidden super expert? What? Nothing is making sense anymore. Also there's no direction in this novel. What's the MC's purpose? What will he do? Are there any adventures? Answer is nothing.
Author had an interesting premise but no long term plan and it just devolves into bullshıt.
Read a few chapters but was unable to continue. The grammar is atrocious. Sometimes the author completely forgets that "a" and "the" exists in the dictionary. Has a high rating but sadly I'll have to drop because my eyes
The grammar is good with almost no mistakes.
The sentence flow is not the best. This makes the story a chore to read at points.
I found myself skipping over some of the cultivation explanations. Nothing innovative that makes these cultivation sections worth reading.
The story is well thought out. The book is generic at the beginning, but becomes an interesting read later on.
I recommend the book for xianxia readers looking for a new novel.
This also a decent book for those who want to get into xianxia and don’t want to start reading a 1000 chapter book.
This story has nothing unique or mold-breaking that would make non-xianxia readers interested.
With all that said, I personally look forward to new chapters.

A very interesting idea and a pretty solid story so far I personnaly like the slower developing story but some people do complain about it reguardless it is slower so keep that in mind before you pick it up
The parasites are interesting and i could really see them becoming a unique dynamic not only in the way they affect the mcs power but in how they interact together as symbiotic allies.
Slower release rate and unstable releases is a bit sad mostly because the stories good and its a pain to keep dipping in and out of it randomly
A nice story that gives me Hunger Games sort of vibes, but with otherworldly beings. What really made me enjoy what I've read so far is how the characters are designed. Distinct and unique personalities keep the momentum going, along with the already interesting plot in itself. A solid recommendation from me :)
On a side note, the relationship between Silas and Saya is rather endearing, and I find it quite adorable~
