Though story had potential.....I was wrong.Basically turned into a harem erotica, what little good the story had died after about 30 chaps.
Tragic case of a novel completely falling apart. I really really enjoyed the first like 50 chapters, which is why this is so painful for me. I love the mc's cheat and how op he gets, but once he starts meeting and interacting with side characters the novel becomes absolute trash. Everyone around him has no brain and is constantly worshiping him for doing the most basic things. In addition to that, he's also is dumb and does lots of other inefficient/idiotic/excessively arrogant things. Like he tells the guild leader of one of the top guilds the basics of how to set up an ambush and how to position for a boss fight and everyone around him is shocked and amazed at his "genius" ideas. There's no way you can be the guild leader of a top guild and not know to put tanks in the front and healers in the back, etc. Dropped on ch113 because the author made everyone brainless
I started reading this Story because author says it is a meme novel. First 10-20 chapter are actually pretty funny, but that's pretty much gone after that. Don't see any difference between this story and any other isekai system cultivation novel.
It has everything that a proper trash novel sholud have. An mc with average brains surrounded by super dumb charecters and one dimensional antoganists.story is also of the worst kind - they call him trash and he face slaps them with his cheats help.i also think from reading till latest chapter and their comments that the author might be a racist snob.
foe the first few chapters it was a decent red so far, but then in chapter 18 the author is tarting to b.s. his way to convince the readers that mc is just normal tier and not op yet. author is looking for ways to nerf mc.at stats 400 he can already massacre c+ like they are insects, but then came the author trying to nerf mc saying mc still at peak body cultivation at the 1000 stats when he is at 5000+. but we have the c+ croc monster saying no martial artist could ever be that strong, not even the strongest in history since martial arts are now outdated because they can't strengthen beyond c rank. anyway up to you guys to read this... I just hate it when author pull this kind of b.s.
Well this novel is an interesting read. It is nicely translated though I have come across a number of issues that I can only put down to laziness in not rechecking the work.Story begins with the author (studying to be a movie director) being expelled from his University on charges of racism. Amusingly the MC is Chinese and the accuser was African-American. Anyhow the charges are false but of course it’s a case of he said, she said and so he is booted. Whilst wallowing in misery he gains the ability to see movies from the future after being hit in the head by a baby stroller. So that’s is his super power, knowing future movies and being able to plagiarise them. No system, no special powers.The book itself reads well and has a nice story but that is it. I have nothing else to praise it over. The narrative is smooth but there is no grab to it. How many times can the MC direct a movie, produce a movie, invest in XYZ affiliated movie industry? I read up to about chapter 150 and even though I did enjoy reading the story, there was nothing to keep me invested in this. I appreciate the effort the author took to try and keep accuracy in his story however it again it felt like rinse and repeat of previous achievements.I really wanted to be invested in this and did give it a decent go, but it wasn’t to be. The author has decent skills so maybe he could have done this in another manner to keep readers involved. I did note some comments were 4 years old with only 251 chapters released. I suspect this was a trial read that never made the cut back then and WebNovel has pulled it out of the cupboard to see if it can make them some money.Overall it felt good but sadly I had to give up.
I liked it at first but it turned into a martial arts sort of story later. Though the story is enjoyable but not my cup of tea.
