You get no information about the world, characters, fights, levels, anything. The author just throws a massive dump of crap at you and hope it sticks. No sense of time, or development. You are thrown into a world where everything moves a mile a minute. If you want subpar writing and story and just need to waste some time than go ahead, if you got some self respect don't read. Sorry that this sounds mean but this story pissed me off.

There's a symbol running through these chapters that I can't stop thinking about: KNEELING. Song Jinyin kneels. She's forced to kneel. She kneels in the rain. She kneels while people play chess above her. She kneels while being slapped. The physical act of kneeling is the perfect metaphor for her entire existence in Guogongfu — she has no upright position in this world. She is literally and figuratively beneath everyone. But here's the thing the author does brilliantly: Song Jinyin KNEELS but her back stays straight. "Only her back was straight, like a flower clinging to a cliff, unyielding to the wind — solitary yet incredibly resilient." This is the central paradox of the character. Her body is forced into submission but her spirit refuses to bend. Then there's the imagery of water and flooding. Her father disappeared in a flood. The magistrate who saved the county from disaster was swept away. Water is destruction but also cleansing — and Song Jinyin is constantly surrounded by it, both literally (the rain) and metaphorically (the flood that destroyed her family). The slave status is another major theme. "Whether she lives or dies, as long as it eases your anger." Her mother's line. Song Jinyin went from being a magistrate's daughter to a servant — a complete fall in social status. And yet she's the most morally upright person in the entire mansion. The irony is crushing. The bamboo scent of Pei Yanzhou — "as cold and unfeeling as he was" — nature imagery used to describe a human being. He's not warm. He's not alive in the way other characters are. He's a force of nature, like the flood that took her father. This story is about power, survival, and what it means to remain human in an inhumane system.
Review for Chapter 91-100: There was fun training for everybody and they started on getting containers and other supplies for everything since the power will be coming out in a few days.We discovered another quirk and Kaley's family actually reached Sky's compound. Like the overprotective dad and the interaction between Marisha and Sky was definitely special. I think Kaley heard everything and the gun training after that was fucking hilarious XD Keep up the good work dude!
