Yeh I finished it and he does indeed ?
The series delivers a thrilling ride through a dystopian landscape filled with relentless action, emotional turmoil, and deep character exploration.
From the outset, the narrative thrusts readers into a chaotic world where hoverbikes zip through darkened car parks and factions like the Vertex wreak havoc. The intense opening chapter sets the stage for an adrenaline-fueled journey that keeps readers on edge. The world-building is immersive, painting a vivid picture of a lawless society where survival hinges on sheer willpower and combat prowess.
Character Development:
Theodore, the protagonist, is a standout character. Initially portrayed as an ordinary individual caught in extraordinary circumstances, his transformation into a fierce protector is both compelling and complex. The mystery surrounding his relationship with the younger boy, who calls him "brother," adds an emotional layer that deepens the reader's investment in his journey. The internal struggle and awakening of primal instincts within Theodore create a rich psychological portrait, reminiscent of the character arcs found in dark fantasy and sci-fi genres.
While the Vertex serve as formidable antagonists, their lack of depth can sometimes detract from the tension. It would be interesting to see more about their motivations and backgrounds to enrich the conflict and provide a stronger contrast to Theodore's character.
Themes and Tone:
The themes of brotherhood, survival, and vengeance resonate throughout the story. The moral ambiguity of Theodore's violent path raises questions about identity and the price of protection. The tone is gritty and dark, creating a constant sense of urgency that propels the narrative forward.
Action Sequences:
The combat scenes are intense and well-crafted, showcasing a mix of brutal realism and almost superhuman feats. The choreography of each fight feels visceral and engaging, making readers feel as if they are in the midst of the chaos. However, there is a slight risk of repetitive action sequences, which might benefit from additional variety in approach.
Final Thoughts:
Overall, the series is a gripping tale that blends action, emotion, and psychological depth. It's a fantastic read for fans of dystopian fiction and dark fantasy who appreciate intricate character dynamics and high-stakes conflicts. With a few adjustments to deepen character interactions and diversify action sequences, this series could easily elevate to a must-read in the genre.

when you will start updating?
This is a long story and there is a prequel to it. Then there is apparently a third book coming out. This book and series take commitment by the reader but it's cute. I wish the author would take the time to proof read the book to make it easier to read and flow better but still recommend it.
Not my favorite of your books but still an enjoyable read. Off to read the next one.
This story really turned into something great as we get to know the main characters in the first story. The second half was so good.
So love the continuation of the story with the next generation and new mates in part two.
Part three just got started and I’m loving it. Definitely a good read!
