The novel is pretty decent, but I am not sure if the author has given up on it releasing. I need to know if I should just remove it from my library at this rate.
The lowest rating among all the novels in the trial read, but the highest number of people paying for the chapters. Doesn't this just say everything about Webnovel?It's not even the first time, it's been happening seemingly every week. Honestly, ratings should also factor into Webnovel's selection of trial read novels to keep translating.To the point: This is a face-slapping novel, where everything goes right for the main lead, people are unreasonably bloodthirsty and racist so the MC can dunk on them, and the MC has a ridiculous number of cheats to basically treat everyone else like trash. It's the bad kind of power fantasy, where there's no thought put into it, things are repetitive, and where there's no meaningful conflict or proper exploration of characters. MC's your average prideful, 'pragmatic' Chinese protagonist, and the story's basically yet another 'VR video game that affects the real world', only they're even ripping off other Chinese works for the VR game rather than doing anything new or original with it.
I normally LOVE criticizing novels! Hell, there was a time I was criticized for being too harsh to the authors due to my critiques!But hell if I don't love this story …A BEAUTIFUL execution of a new premise in a story, no overused reincarnation/transmigration/back-in-time or anything of the sort. A child inheriting his grandfather's empire while having to fight for his rights with his other family members (father, mother, brothers) be it in real life or in a VR game.I normally write reviews either due to disappointment (unfortunately, on this site, this is the most prevalent review one can expect from) or potential of the story (normally due to writing quality being really bad, but its premise being way too great to ignore).Guess what, this story falls under NEITHER.It's got AWESOME characters, world background and story development (at least for now) and stability of updates seems to be on a daily release (again, for now).Writing quality is also really nice; it has nicely split paragraphs and very good sentences' structures. Rich enough vocabulary and grammar is pretty nice.The only critique the author still has to work on (for now) is proper tenses usage. He messes them up from time to time, but it is NOWHERE NEAR the mix-up most other novels on this site have. Unfortunately, due to me being me, that still warrants one less star on `Writing Quality`, making it a total of 4.Other than that? It's 5 star for now! Making the overall rating a 4.8.Cheers.
I don't know how I feel about this one, but the romance truly made me shudder from time to time. They feel forced or too obvious. I wish the romance was as smooth and free flowing like the battle scenes.
really enjoyed this story, great characters and story. having an issue though, since about a week ago when I try to read it it tells me chapters deleted. at the same time I see people posting reviews for it daily who don't seem to have that problem, HELP! I would really like to continue this story.

Thought it was a good book at first until reading like 200 chapters in. The author is more focused on describing boobs than actually moving the story forward, the story seems to become more of a harem each chapter I read on. The author just keeps adding more and more female characters into the story and describes their boobs, kind of disappointing.

This is one of my favorite novels. The MC is not only OP, he’s OP in a way we rarely see where every fight seems like a struggle to some degree. Not only, that, he’s hilarious in every way. The only issue I’ve ever had with this book is the worldbuilding, and that’s not even because of the author’s fault. Are some of the gaps in knowledge because he didn’t tell us? Yes. Do they exist because he didn’t feel like filling them in? Also probably yes. However, there isn’t a single gap in knowledge that he didn’t acknowledge and set up for the future. Unfortunately, it appears like this gem has been dropped, but while it lasted it was one of the best novels I know of. This novel was one of the first that I read, and it has remained at or near the top of my list since I first found it. All of this author’s novels are great as well, but this one in particular is amazing.
