This book is very good!I am new here on webnovel and this is the first book i’ve been reading. Although I haven’t finished the novella/novel (depends if the total word count is somewhere between 17,500 and 40,000 words), from what i’ve read so far, the writing quality is very good but there is some wiggle room for improvement and the stability of updates is quite good as well. The story development is very smooth as we, the readers, can see how the relationship between Yao Ling and Yao Ying is changing in a natural development. However, the character design and the world background is where I find most of my problems lay. We, the readers, are told that Yao Ling and Yao Ying are beautiful - that much is certain. However what we aren’t told is why. Yes we do get some descriptions of their beauty and alluring temperament, but what we don’t get descriptions on is why people find their appearances beautiful and why their temperament is so intoxicating to those that surround them. We are also not given much information about the world background. We are told by the beginning of the novella/novel
Is this novel akso known as dragon marked god??? The descriptions sounds a lot like it.The one i just asked about is interesting but redundant in many parts.
Good story? I really like !!
keep it up author!!
Okay so this whole arc is absolutely wild. Let me just say it — the moment Shen Yingying realized Xie Fangzhu had been lying to her about the dog incident was the single most devastating plot twist in this entire novel. I literally gasped out loud. Think about it. She spent her whole life believing that he was the one who set the dogs on her, that he orchestrated her injury, that he was the reason she was stuck in this terrible marriage. And then — BAM — the truth comes out. It wasn't him. It was his uncle. His own family. Not the man she thought was her enemy. And what does she do? She doesn't run to him for comfort. She doesn't break down. No — she does the most unexpected thing possible. She walks right up to him and says, in the most casual tone imaginable, "Let's get a divorce." I know, I know, it sounds ridiculous on the surface. But here's the thing — it's the most powerful line in the entire book. Because underneath that casual tone is years of pain, of betrayal, of feeling like she was never enough for him. She's not asking for a divorce because she wants to leave him. She's asking for a divorce because she finally sees him clearly, and she can't unsee it. The irony is absolutely brutal. He spent his whole life hating her, torturing her, breaking her — and all along, he was wrong about the one thing that mattered. And now that he knows the truth, he can't take it back. He can't undo the damage. He can only watch as she walks away, not because she doesn't love him, but because she finally loves herself enough to leave. This is what I call a plot twist that doesn't just surprise you — it gut-punches you. And the author? Absolute legend for pulling it off.
