So, i like the story and where this is going, but remove the indian monarch. It can pretty much make the wifey balance go downhill bc she's a royal. I had been vibing till she came in the picture- so it would not be bad if in the next 1-3 chapters she would die... you know, for character development too, and you could push the mc's way of conquering with a great justification right?
I started reading this book around when it had 50 chapters, it’s been a long time since then and the book has developed a lot, so it’s time I make a review.Note: I’m probably biased due to having emotional attachment to the story at this pointWorld Building: 4/5The world is well crafted, scenes are described expertly and really draws you into the world as if you were there yourself.Characters: 3/5Characters all feel like individuals, at least the ones that matter anyway, there are a few arrogant young masters at the start but I suspect that they will disappear more and more as the mc gets stronger and is meeting older people as the antagonists.Story: 3/5For the most part the story is fairly standard at the start, mc is the weak underdog nobody expects anything from but develops to become a force to be reckoned with over the course of the story, though later on in the story the mc goes on a different than usual path compared to the usual heroics you might be used to.Writing Quality: 4/5The writing is fairly good with few mistakes in spelling or grammar, but nobody is ever perfect especially when English isn’t their first language.Updating Stability: 4/5There were some rougher patches previously but things have settled to usually be 2 chapters each day unless stated otherwise in the discord
This story will make you jump and spit blood . But in a fun way , which is amazing . You'll love the system and the power of each character. But don't fall in love with the MC , he's not your type of character.
love the concept of the book and the characters are all so interesting
All you have to do to understand the utter uselessness and stupidity of this story is to read the Glossary chapter (right after the Prologue), especially the 2nd part to the end. What a waste of braincells.
Thk for updating. Pls update soon!! Cant wait to read next chapter....................................................................................................
I applaud the author for the way he has written this. It grabbed and dragged me (kicking and screaming) to the next chapter. Please continue!
The stakes in this chapter are deceptively simple on the surface — a girl finds valuable plants and a rabbit in a famine world — but they're actually layered in ways that keep me hooked. On the external level, the stakes are survival: this family is poor, the famine is real, and every copper coin matters. Sister-in-law Zhang mentions they're struggling to make ends meet. Fenniang is taking eggs to town to sell. The rabbit Uncle Feng caught is described as "skinny — not much meat on it." In this world, a rabbit is worth a dozen copper coins per jin. But Zhuo Ling knows it's worth a THOUSAND. That gap between perceived value and actual value is the central tension, and it's brilliant. But the real stakes are internal and relational. Zhuo Ling is hiding something massive — a system that can turn worthless weeds into fortunes — from the people closest to her. She trusts Eldest Brother, yes, but she's still weighing whether to tell him. Every time she almost does, something interrupts. The author is deliberately stretching out this revelation, and it works because we understand WHY she's hesitant. If word got out, she'd be in danger. In a famine world, someone who can conjure wealth from nothing isn't just rich — they're a target. There's also the tension of opportunity cost. She COULD sell the stinkweed openly, but she'd get pennies. She COULD take the rabbit and sell it in town, but she'd miss out on nearly a thousand times the value. Every decision she makes is a calculation between safety and profit, and that's where the suspense lives. Will she figure out how to withdraw the credits? Will Eldest Brother notice? The chapter ends with her walking to town with her family, the hen laying eggs, the system humming in the background — and I literally cannot wait to see what happens next.
Hello. Answer to chapter 5. The power like summoning lightning and flying is impossible and I am sure that noone ever did it in our world. Due to fundamental laws of physics and biology, most likely obtaining something like that for biological system without additional organs and changing the structure of organism won't be possible in other worlds either. About ancient martial arts. When I was younger, I was a direct disciple of leaders of federations of Taekwondo, Wushu, and Wing Chun in my country. (sadly I put physics above martial arts in my life, so after applying to university I stopped practicing and I do not practice anymore for few years, but I still know a lot about it). There are 2 ways of martial arts: inner and outer (english is not my native language, so name maybe different) Inner styles are closer to cultivation so I would explain what I know about it. The main point of inner style is do not train your muscles, basically less muscles - the better. You see, most practitioners use body as mechanical system, but actually it is semi-mechanical, semi-hydrodynamical system. So the idea of inner styles practitioners is to generate Centrifugal force inside there body and perform a hydraulic shock. The 1st level achieved by inner practitioner is ability to perform fa jing (you can google it), later levels are much more formidable but you most likely won't be able to find any info about it because training it without master may kill you, So in nutshell, after 20+ years of training inner practitioner can kill almost any human just by touching him. My master was able to push a 70 kg disciple, who touched his shoulder, without moving any muscle by 2 meters. It is like he is vibrating all the time. Also inner practitioners are generally keeping there strength until the moment they die because they do not use muscles so old age almost do not affect there power (thats why exist legends about 90 years old masters stronger than young warriors). Also it is possible for a master to 'control' his weight, but actually it is just vibrating and constant applying of force. It is an increase or decrease of mass, it is only a correct momentum. Also when martial arts were a real thing all martial artists had some medical knowledge and even now some traditions ask it for applying for better dan. My master of Wushu even was a practicing therapist in our local hospital. So as you may see they were able to use herbs and acupuncture for better recovery and boosting perfomance during battles. Natural drugs are quite strong actually, and can boost your speed and strength above limit of your body. (it is harmful, but trainied body can endure it once in a while) I think you got an idea what were martial artists of ancient times. Real martial artists were truly strong and things like dodging arrows or moving unharmed through an army and killing general was a reality. And even ‘’magic powers’’ existed, thou it was only correct usage of herbs and explosives. (gunpowder was known even before 700 AD, but became used in wars only near 1400, so those 700+ years was the golden age for people with some knowledge in alchemy). P.S. They are not hiding, they just know that purpose of martial arts is killing and we live in peaceful times where violence is prohibited. Going to war zone is a terrible idea either because explosion or bullets are much more effective then melee. Due to this reasons, basically only leaders of federations and there successors learn properly., Most disciples are not taught real arts actually. It happens because people refuse to invest years of there life to something that won't help them in future.Have a nice life and do not think about useless things!
Does the hero have any supernatural abilities or system? Please reply back so I can start reading it
Reviewing this at 15 chapters that are out so far.. I don’t write reviews unless this novel is good, that being said this is my second real review. To start the whole ‘cultivation’ system is pretty unique in my opinion and I’m excited to see how it works throughout the rest of the novel. I also like how the characters are explained and fleshed out so far and world building can’t really be considered very much but so far we have somewhat of a good background of the empire the Draco family rules as well as the powers within. I’m really looking forward to this novel to take off with more chapters and have high expectations for this novel so far. Keep up the good work author, thank you!
