Let me be honest with you: I went into this expecting a slow, tedious story about a woman suffering in an unhappy marriage. And yes, the opening chapters do move at a deliberate pace, almost painfully so. We spend time understanding Zhao Ran's situation, her financial exploitation, her emotional isolation. It could have dragged. But the author makes a crucial decision around the hospital scene that changes everything. The structure here is almost surgical. We get the setup—Zhao Ran in the hospital, Yang Jianjun absent, the mounting tension of unpaid bills. Then the inciting incident: she discovers the money is gone. Instead of collapsing, she acts. She goes to the payment office, she goes to the police station, she sets the trap. And then—the payoff. Yang Jianjun arrives, she performs, she reveals, he unravels. All of this happens in what feels like real time, and the pacing never lets you breathe. What I found most impressive is how the author controls the release of information. We learn about Yang Jianjun's true nature gradually, through Zhao Ran's observations and memories, but the full picture only comes together in the hospital ward. The confrontation scene is structured like a detective story in reverse—the reader knows what is happening before the characters do, and we watch Yang Jianjun dig his own grave with every defensive word he speaks. The chapter breaks also work well here. Each one ends on a note that propels you forward: the realization of betrayal, the police report, the public confrontation. There is no filler, no unnecessary scene. Every moment serves the central arc of Zhao Ran's awakening and her decision to fight back.
The development of the story is going well.i am hoping that this story will go on nicely. Really nice development. I think the contents also will be nice . The story is making me curious to see what's going to happen next. So I would like to rate it 5 out of 5 . Because it is really eye catching. And the cover does not stand with the story background for some reason. I think it is also some twist. I will stay with this story and see what's going to happen

Honeslty, I’m suprised this type of novel was contracted, as I thought this type of theme was agaisnt the TOS…Anyway, this type of theme doesn’t suit my tastes in the least, I abhor this type of plot/development. Well, I dislike romance in general… but I find this type of theme to be especially unsuited to me.Well anyway, I could never read something like this, and I’m unsure and can’t comprehend how other people like this type of theme, but I guess as an author you should only write what you want to write… so I guess I wish you good luck as an author, although I find your tastes to be strange… Even if you like these kind of things, good luck with your dreams…

I've read this in syncogon's tumblr but I'm definitely going to read it again. And yes, TKA too. I am just too addicted to this novel that i can't seem to move on. And if you can't move on, you can have a feel of it again (unlike your ex?)
