This is a good story but I must ask what happen to keido and big mom bc it seem they died and if they are who will be the empire in the new world?
From what has been released so far, the plot is pretty interesting. The first few chapters are horrendously rough, and almost made me stop reading immediately, but putting aside those chapters, the story is quite interesting. There are quite a few plot holes and inconsistencies that must be overlooked, but that's a given with any novel. Honestly, the novel reads like a edgy **** powertrip to me, but it might develop into something good in the future. I can't honestly recommend this novel as something to get heavily invested into, but it is something that you can read out of boredom, like the unhealthy foods that can be easily binged. I don't understand why it has such high ratings, and quite frankly, don't think it deserves such as the quality of both the writing and thr storytelling is not amazing. Hopefully, my honest review is not deleted to keep the ratings of the novel high.P.S.I do not mean to discourage or hate on the author or their work; I am only giving my honest opinion about the novel. I hope that the author can and will continue writing their story and improving along the way, but I also hope that the novel can have honest reviews to fairly represent itself while giving credit to novels that truly are high quality and deserving of their ratings.
???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
The plot is written quite smoothly. Well done. I would say that the expression and use of language for this type of genre is subpar. There needs to be more 'umph' and excitement when writing and describing gory scenes. On a final note, some of the grammar was rather askew - I would advise fixing this so your next readers can enjoy your work!
Review for Chapter 21-30: Awesome dude! The rescue mission for a friend was awesome though I think you should have brought more people just to be on the safe side.We discovered more things. There's already a cult, a mutant and the MC is fond of very dark jokes lol XDRelationships with other characters are explored and can't wait to see more! Keep it up dude!
The writer of this book is true legend among legends. I was hooked from chapter 1 and have nearly caught up with the story. Really amazing novel. deserves an anime adaptation.
Not only one of the few hidden gems, it is also one of the best novels on this site. In many ways it follows the core concepts of reincarnarion novels. Cheat treasure (in a way), the bad family member, school, and rather overpowered mc (when i say overpowered i mean in the sense of his age group, not the ridiculous type of op). However, it takes these concepts and changes their direction. Instead of the typical ending to these cliches, it gives a new, refreshing end to them by actually apllying logic and understanding of human emotions. Its an impressive feat honestly. The mc is also fleshed out. He is not a fully confident all knowing person, he is human. And he in a way is broken. The author tries to make a different mc that is not perfect, but flawed in many ways. Its absolutely wonderful to finally see a character that is able to grow. And the final thing that i will touch on, mainly because it is something i love and respect the most, is the mcs original world and the way reincarnation affects the mc. Unlike other novels whose mc quickly shakes off any memory of his original world, in this one the original world is alive and well in the mc. It lives through him due to the fact that it caused his broken mentality. Every time the mc is cynical, untrusting, or unreasonably angry, you as the reader know that he is still affected by his old life. As for him reincarnating, he does not forget about it. In fact he even dwells on it, making him create goals revolving around this mysterious and magical occurence that happened to him. It even makes him question his own existence and what it means for the future. This is something i truly admire, and i believe it makes the novel even better in its own way.
I have no intention to write a review cuz I finished this novel for almost 2 years, however, I just cross to the authors Weibo and find something he has to say about this story and readers. Here's his Weibo page if anyone is interested:http://weibo.com/p/1035051235627283/home?from=page_103505&mod=TAB&is_hot=1&noscale_head=1#_0So here it is(I'm sorry if some of my translations are different from the novel cuz I basically didn't read it):Butterfly Blue: King's Avatar has a rather ****** storyline, an out-dated professional retired and started from the beginning then returned to the top. Stories like this aren't something new (Note: based on Chinese WN variety and non-gaming novels), and there are just two types of ending for them, either hero at miserable late years, which is more objective, realistic but sad; because of that I chose the other way, make it back to the top with glory. This kind of ending is more enjoyable, like most of the fairytales. However, in competitive sports, that's not that unrealistic, some people just have that kind of potential, keep their high-level performance way past their peak age. E.g. Micheal Jordan, returned to NBA at 32 in 1995, since then till 35 years old, these 3 years he kept the championship in his pocket, made others to feel the fear of domination again. In this case, Ye Xiu didn't do anything nearly crazy, but he is this kind of person - in the area of Glory competitive gaming, a premium player. What makes it even worse for others is that as a genius he also had the passion, concentration, and diligence which stronger than anyone, even in the last year of his pro-life, he led a team he gathered at retirement and fought so hard towards the championship. What he wanted was not leaving no regrets behind, he was way past that point, championship means nothing to him, he had that a long time ago, hell he actually dominated the league for ages, if he liked he would just say "Glory(the game) has no more challenge to offer me" and leave. He didn't, not because "Championship means everything to me
Riccardo is an ass that needs cleaning fr
This is so interesting... Keep it up authoress....Can’t wait for more chapters...
