Zhou Sui was once the undisputed champion of the Gathering Camp, a pinnacle holographic competition where players challenged the Supreme Mainframe’s simulated environments. Three years prior, he achieved a historic record by reaching Level 52 in the Savage Beast Arena, becoming the first player to break through that threshold. However, immediately after his victory, he suffered a sudden medical emergency diagnosed as type C hypersomnia, a rare condition caused by his S-level physical fitness and excessive cellular activity. This forced him into a two-year coma, after which he spent a year in rehabilitation under strict medical supervision. Now twenty-one years old and cleared for limited activity, Zhou Sui lives a reclusive life in Capital Star A City, communicating little with neighbors and relying on a mechanical cat for companionship. His return to the holographic world is motivated by the launch of Divine Tree, a new game that incorporates the data models from the very competition he dominated three years ago.

Upon entering Divine Tree, Zhou Sui chooses Qi Ling Village, a starting zone with the lowest attack bonuses but the second-highest speed bonus and a talent focused on skill effect enhancement. This choice diverges from the popular meta, as most players flock to Sui Xing City or Tian He Mountain for higher damage output. In the Serpent Cave trial, Zhou Sui demonstrates exceptional combat instincts despite his physical rustiness. He systematically clears the dungeon, killing not only the Serpent King but also every snake in the cave, including egg-laying mothers. This action triggers a unique chain reaction: the wild Golden Serpent King, which shares a familial link with the cave boss, goes berserk and targets Zhou Sui specifically. The event spawns a server-wide announcement, marking Zhou Sui as the first player to achieve a perfect clearance of the Qi Ling Village trial.

The berserk Golden Serpent King becomes a focal point of conflict. Two elite teams, led by a player known as Slack Bro, have been camping the boss to monopolize its rare material drops. When Zhou Sui emerges from the cave with the boss in pursuit, the elite squad attempts to intercept him. Slack Bro, recognizing Zhou Sui’s capability, forms a party with him to survive the chase. Zhou Sui utilizes the steep terrain of the Qi Ling Village forest, climbing a mountainside to evade the massive serpent and the pursuing players. His agility and understanding of game mechanics allow him to use the Golden Serpent King’s attacks to carve footholds into the rock face, turning the boss into a tool for his ascent while maintaining a safe distance from enemy spellcasters below.

As the chase continues, Zhou Sui allocates his skill points into the enhanced scythe slash, prioritizing damage over utility. Slack Bro assists by throwing honey fruits, which the Golden Serpent King despises, slowing its movements. Zhou Sui exploits this window to deal significant damage to the boss while evading attacks from the elite squad. The conflict highlights the disparity between Zhou Sui’s professional combat experience and the casual or greedy motivations of the other players. While the elite squad focuses on loot and aggro control, Zhou Sui treats the encounter as a tactical survival challenge, using the environment and the boss’s mechanics to his advantage. The narrative establishes Zhou Sui as a formidable but isolated figure in the new game world, setting the stage for his re-emergence as a top-tier player in Divine Tree.

:the only thing i hate about it is that concept that he needs to become super duper gigantic to become strong, like all the super powerful people in this novel like galactic organism or what ever the author calls it has a body so big it sounds stupid. literally bigger is better concept. if he author could have made a different kind of concept for the combat body and not just make it increase in,size to become stronger then the novel could have been so,good... anyway, i am dropping this coz i think its already impossible for author to change the cultivation method after making it like this

The translation is pretty bad but the story is worse. The MC is given an OP skill. Then the author ignores most of what he writes to make the MC even more OP. Their is no point in reading the story because nothing bad can happen to the MC. There is no conflict resolution because their can never be any real conflict. Its boring.
