Its so cool and original. I love the idea of a wisp cultivator and the best is that its not a reincarnation and the wisp os intelligent. There is no long vjapters about learning that bore you. Just the balance it need to keep it interesting and logical for the plot. Its a must read in a point of view. I just hoping the author will continue. Ps: no harem.
This author has a gift for atmosphere that I just cannot get over. Let me paint you a picture. The hound scene at night—moonlight, two fierce dogs with gleaming fangs, Su Yao's pupils contracting as memories flood back. The bluestone pavement, the trembling Chun Tao on her knees, the cedar scent wrapping around Su Yao like a cage. It's cinematic. I could literally see the frame: cold blue tones, the white of Su Yao's dress against dark stone, those two shadows moving between them like death itself. But the scene that haunts me is the birthday morning. Snow falling outside, the fine drizzle from earlier turning to snow, and Su Yao curled under her brocade quilt staring at the canopy. The author writes: "Moonlight like shattered ice pierced through the window lattice, cutting fine, dense fractures across Su Yao's pale skirt." Fractured light. Fractured woman. I'm not even sure that's accidental. And then the plum tree. Always the plum tree. "A cold wind swept by, causing the plum blossoms in the corner of the wall to sway in the wind and rain, their petals drooping under the weight of the raindrops." Su Yao watching herself in that tree—bending but not breaking, or maybe just barely holding on. When Chun Tao brings the two bowls of medicine, the contrast between the dark murky tonic and the fertility potion is almost grotesque in its symbolism, but it works because the author never explains it. We just see Su Yao pouring the fertility potion into a potted plant while drinking the contraceptive herself. The snow scene with Lu Chuyao is pure visual poetry—his clothes soaked through, water dripping from his black hair, Su Yao standing on tiptoe holding an umbrella over a man twice her emotional burden. And then the blood. Bright red on white snow and white dress. Bleeding on one's birthday. The author doesn't need to tell us this is ominous. The image says it all.
Ha i am really enjoying this so far, because the character interaction is superb, especially between the "hill mates". I also really look forward to seeing how the "plant" and the surrounding characters progress.This story is so new and fresh and quite funny, please continue writing this.
I really liked how he started in the story! Instead of just playing football, it’s also about character development as well as setting a foothold into his “new life”. There are some wrong-written words but everything is still easy to understand?? but because of the development it has a rather slow start but all in all I really recommend reading the story!
Now, sorry if my reviews are too long but, this story is great and was in my opinion, one of the best. It was high-quality and had barely any flaws and a good way to pass time, it's light-hearted and fun to read! I had a joy reading and be assured I actually read the novel, it doesn't back away from the original goal and Qidian chooses novels well! Here's why:Translation Quality: Now, as we all know, Qidian has high-quality translations and I've seen no errors currently while reading this. It's been expected of Qidian and better translations means better quality and understanding. It makes it way easier to read, (compared to other translations I've seen on sites) and you should find no problems reading this.Updating Stability: The translations manage to have good stability and quality while updating (which is as always expected of Qidian). The translation speed is a little slow but, it ties in with the updates for the raws. A translation frequency surpassing the release frequency of the original novel isn't good. Which is why I have no problems regarding this.Story Development: The plot of the story is ******, cooking. Though it has times where it delves into other things, it's mainly about cooking. I like the simplicity and it explains well why these things happened and there aren't any info dumps telling you things that you wont need to know or repeated information. This is great since, (unless you're a cultivator) memorizing information only to find out you never needed to know it, isn't gonna make you happy. There are basically no tropes and the story follows the objective. The plot is outstanding, it's well explained, and unique.Character Design: The characters have unique personalities and they aren't repeated, (unless you count arrogant young masters) though some characters don't have much background. The main characters and characters develop throughout the story and this can be seen if you pay attention. Although there isn't enough background information on some of the characters, it makes it up with plot and thought-out personalities.World Background: The world is slowly introduced to you at good pace, I love how it's like that. Like usual, the world and cultivation systems are unique and are easy to understand. They don't diverge into information you don't need to know yet which makes it so much easier to know what's happening, and how the world works. This is wonderful and I liked how it did it at a reasonable pace.Again, sorry if my reviews are too long, but Gourmet of Another World is a great story, and you should read it. I recommend this story at 4.8 stars!
i have good expectations but author perfectly destroyed it . power system is damaged in this novel . your brain will blow up every chapter you read until you stop thinking or reading . i choosed second option
