Okay so this whole chapter is basically one long variety show episode and I need to talk about how the plot uses it. On the surface it's just celebrities playing beach volleyball and taking photos, but underneath there's actually a lot going on. The volleyball game sets up the power dynamics immediately—Sang Ji's team wins because they have height and skill, Jiang Rui's team loses and she takes it out on Su Tang. Classic move. Then Jiang Siwei tries to smooth it over because he's calculating his reputation, and Sang Ji steps in to defend Su Tang. That's not just a nice moment, that's plot mechanics at work. The author is building alliances. Sang Ji is positioning herself as someone who protects the weak, which matters because we know from earlier that Su Tang has a secret background as an artist for "New World." The reveal through the sand drawing is a brilliant slow-burn plot device—we don't get exposition dumps, we get shown Su Tang's talent and then Sang Ji connects the dots herself. Meanwhile Jiang Rui and Jiang Siwei pivot to photography tutorials to cover up the drama, which is both realistic and a clever way to keep the chapter moving without dwelling on the conflict. The plot never stops. Even the seashell moment with Shen Ci giving shells to both sisters and brothers ties back to the family subplot. Everything connects. But here's my one complaint: the live stream comments sometimes feel like they're doing the author's analysis for us. Like when they spell out that Shen Ci is a "smooth little brother"—I got that from reading the scene, thank you very much. Still, the overall narrative arc in these chapters is tight. The author knows how to use a variety show format to reveal character and advance relationships without it feeling like filler.
A beautiful fiction novel with beautiful scenes. let all escape out of our heads, the pain and life struggles. join to visit a problem free world

Best GL ever; coming from a non GL fan?
I just love this book. 10 chapters in and you have made a dark atmosphere that I am in love with.
Hi guys, I hope you enjoy it! it's actually one of my first novel so I can't claim perfection but I'll try my best.
Although it was very dark in parts, the main character is likable. Overall, it was an enjoyable story, keeping me interested in what would happen next.
I'm currently in chapter 15. There is lots going on. FL is a bad ass
This book completely took over my life. I sat down intending to read just a few chapters, and before I knew it, hours had passed. The writing is effortless, the pacing is perfect, and the world just pulls you in without even trying. There’s something about the way the author tells a story, it’s smooth, engaging, and impossible to put down. And then there’s Li Hua. I have never been so unprepared to fall for a character. The kind of woman who could destroy me in a thousand ways, and I would thank her for it. And Mo Xing??? he is living the dream life, the one I wish I had. Every scene in this book makes me feel like I should be there, in his place. The action is intense, the intrigue keeps you hooked, and the romance? It sneaks up on you in the best way, subtle, thrilling, and it’s the kind that lingers, the kind that makes your heart race in the best way possible. If you’re even remotely considering reading this, do yourself a favor and start now. You won’t regret it. Keep it up Author! Waiting for more!!
