Let me sit with the emotion crystal for a moment because I think it's the central symbol of this whole story. Qi Youyu modifies a defective emotion crystal—something that wasn't good enough to power a spaceship, something flawed and imperfect—and it becomes exactly what Yan Xingli's car needs. No more refueling. Just pure, clean energy. Isn't that what this relationship is? Yan Xingli is this broken, scandal-plagued celebrity who's running on fumes, whose reluctance to work was "as heavy as visiting a grave." And this child from the future, with her defective but perfectly adjusted emotion crystal, gives him something he didn't know he needed. She doesn't fix him—she just makes everything run smoother. The armpit hair detail keeps coming back to me too. Yan Xingli has shaved it all off because he values cleanliness and modernity, while Yu Yu's father ties bows in his and makes donkey noises. One represents control, discipline, the curated public image. The other represents chaos, warmth, unfiltered joy. Yan Xingli is caught between these two worlds—the future where his child is from, and the past where he exists now. And the rice triangles—Yu Yu's obsession with them, how each one is as if it's her first bite, how she was "a rice ball in her past life." Food as comfort, as simplicity, as the thing that makes a child from the future feel at home in the past. The story keeps coming back to these small, grounded symbols: a crystal, a hat, a rice triangle, an armpit. Nothing grand or dramatic, just these tiny moments that accumulate into something deeply meaningful.
Okay so Li Moyi's whole arc in these chapters is basically a masterclass in subtle plotting. The author doesn't just tell us he's calculating—they SHOW us through actions. First he sends the second wife to the hospital with those allergy-inducing flowers, then when his third uncle comes to mediate, Li Moyi doesn't even raise his voice. He just drops this line about rotten fruit spoiling first and suddenly the uncle has no counterargument. The metaphor is so perfect it's almost cruel. Before all the fruits on a tree ripen, a few rotten ones will spoil first. That's not just a plot point—that's the entire philosophy of this household laid bare in one sentence. And the way the author structures it: we see Li Moyi playing with Wanwan, being sweet, then the scene shifts to tea with his uncle and suddenly it's a completely different person. That juxtaposition is what makes the plot so gripping. You never know which Li Moyi you're going to get.
Amazing premise. Looks very promising.??Please continue writing author.

Your concept possesses undeniable originality and potential; however, some aspects could deepen its impact.Strengths:— An intriguing world that evokes a desire to explore its details. — The foundation of the plot leaves room for unexpected twists.1. The Main Character: He lacks complexity. Internal conflicts, dark secrets from the past, or moral dilemmas would add depth, making his evolution more convincing. For instance, showing how his decisions affect the world could strengthen the connection between the character and the reader.2. Dark Aspects of the World: Expand the emotional palette through an atmosphere of hopelessness, ethical ambiguity, or hidden threats. Ruins of ancient civilizations, secret cults, or stories of secondary characters affected by the brutality of the world could underscore its complexity.3.Secondary Characters: Introduce figures whose fates reflect different faces of your world—from victims of the system to those who support it. Their stories could serve as a mirror for the main character, highlighting his transformation or stability. Conclusion:Refining these elements will not only enrich the narrative but also allow the reader to fully immerse themselves in the atmosphere of your world. A balance between darkness and hope, as well as the protagonist's interaction with living, ambiguous characters, can transform a good idea into an unforgettable story.
This story has a promising plot, whilst I enjoy it, I hope the author updates more often and doesn't suddenly drop the story...??
