I haven’t read this but the mc looks a lot like Damiano from Måneskin…….…….…….…….….….….…….….….….….….….….….….….….….….…….…….….….….….….….….…….…
Okay I have read just the few chapters and let me say it is not dissapointing and it is actually Great. Contrary to what you would expect, it isnt one of those less detailed and very slow paced type of novels. Although it is slow paced its not "THAT" slow and you can actually feel the story progress as long as you give it time, it also contains more detail compared to the regular stories that have a fast pace which helps the story progress smoothly. So this is just my first part of review and I will change it later. See you guys again
Okay so this story is still in the beginning phase but I have no qualms that it's going to be big. The opening chapter is catchy and everything else is. The characters I have seen so far are shrouded in mystery and they really make me want more. I don't review much but this story has a really good start.
This is a hidden gem. Finally i found another one of these few stories with a proper english sentence structure and properly used grammar! At the beginning this novel feels like a western fantasy story, where the mc just comes into his power. But this feeling shifts; the novel gets more into the eastern fantasy theme with body cultivation.Overall it‘s a very good novel: Nice magic and cultivation system, Proper English grammar, nice pacing. Thank you for this great novel.
great novel i can say this is one ok jxs best work extremely disappointed that he discontinued it and is not making this part of the jks universe but plzxz jks if you are reading this plzz continue even if 1 chapter is weak plz or 1 ch a month even plz this could be really good like the world after mws and could tell the story of sen's sword or smtn in mvs kinda plz

Classic 5-star author review. In this novel, I write what the reader in me wanted to read in a cultivation novel.First and foremost, I am an enjoyer of the xianxia genre and cultivation novels in general. But some common points tend to frustrate me or take me out from the plots. Typical examples include MCs that are needlessly hiding their abilities when they could obtain huge benefits by just revealing some or the MCs vowing to stay low-key only for them to murder the son of a powerful figure the next minute, because he insulted their parents or something. With Journey of the Immortal Grandmaster, I try to portray believable characters with logical behaviors, even as those characters become more and more extraordinary. You will find a martial art adventure with a new realistic spin to it, and an accent on science. No OP MCs, cheat items, and stupid stepping stones piling out one after the other. Our MC will have to climb his way up with his determination and wits, from a normal starting point.Han Lingyun, our MC, is very smart but isn’t perfect either as he is in a growth state. You might find him on the cowardly side, especially compared to the traditional MCs. It is in Han Lingyun’s nature to calculate risks and rewards all the time.Admittedly, this novel is not for everyone: there won’t be constant life and death fights and face slapping if that is what you are looking for. The plot should fit more those that prefer ‘low-key’ MCs, more specifically, the MCs that don’t rely on Deus Ex Machina for saving themselves from an all-powerful cultivator they angered for the hundredth time.Don’t hesitate to join Han Lingyun on his epic journey!

The premise would have been good if not for the recurring stupid characters and forced plots that happen solely for the mc. Such as being disdained literally by breathing air. And the "coincidental" examination of disciples of which the mc partakes and dominates. What's even ridiculous is that the supposed "geniuses" were nothing but characters with no depth, purely made to act as a pedestal for the mc's glory. They saw the mc easily dealing with the prior opponent but they still underestimate him, it would have been better if they at least have been a little more cautious, but no, they instead fought to be the first to fight the mc calling him "prey." I understand that the mc's abilities have to be showcased every now and then but please, don't do it in a very ludicrous way. Even a toddler would be cautious to a certain degree once a situation takes a turn from what was otherwise expected. In summary, add more depth to the characters and don't force events for the convenience of the mc like "an event that only happens for a century" or "a village attacked out of nowhere, and the mc is put in the position of defending." Make a clear outline of what the characters are, their personalities, abilities, and such. It will help make the characters appear unique among others instead of the usual "opposing and worshipping characters" where they either worship, oppose, or some "ice-cold super genius woman that frowns upon men but was taken aback by the mc's strength hence falls head over heels" cliché. Make the story a little more alive, that's all I'm asking.
