FulltimeMadman
Really nice.No face slapping which is a huge plus, well in the first 10 chapters.MC wakes up in a parallel world that has undergone a spiritual change 100 years ago, causing beasts and dimensional rifts to pop up everywhere. The MCs cheat is that he can get the description and elements of anything he focuses on, and take elements from these things, if you want an example, read the book,So far so good, nothing crazy but the little fox part was cute.Would recommended.
I really like the mh system and its izuku so there are bound to be good skill combos when hes around.I'm really grateful that you made a mh story there arent enough in this website so thx
Interesting at first but it doesn't really go anywhere. Author is too caught up trying to make the MC profound and mysterious that the same tropes are repeated over and over again. It just feels shallow and fake instead. No clue why so many people think this is good but different strokes for different folks I guess.
An amazing work that I highly recommend. At first it might seem boring with the hidden identity, it might make your blood boil as why he doesn't clarify everything and his wife gets bullied, but it's a real gem in the end of the day.
The writing quality is mostly good, very little mistakes and the reading flows well.Characters development so far is good, I appreciate the details some of the minor characters have. Though I don't really see too much original thought in the characters they are plenty good enough. I enjoy reading about all of them.World building so far is adequate as it is just the first 20 chapters.Great story with an original concept though I can forsee issues in the future with creating movies for the MC to act in I think it will be interesting to follow. Love it so far.Updates are somewhat stable, hope for more as always.Written at Chapter 21
well... I read a lot. And I have read hundreds of chapters of the Nr. 1 "vampire system" novel. And at the end, I was highly disappointed. All the praise is BS in my eyes, because it is just a school teen drama overall, and nothing more. MC is pretty dumb and most decisions are illogical and I often had awkward moments when reading. Even had to prevent myself from hitting my forehead against the table I was sitting in front...Can't recommend it, if you are not into 100% magical teen school drama with a lot of illogical decisions.
A good story that is ultimately weighed down by two big issues. Firstly, there is such a thing as too much detail. There were many times in the story I was reading when too many small things were talked about. Like going to one place only to be turned away because he needs *blank*. So he goes to get *blank* only for it to be a long drawn-out process. This happens a lot, and I keep asking myself: "Did you really need to take time to include all these useless things?" It really feels like the word count is unnecessarily padded. The other issue is the MC knows LITERALLY nothing. Imagine a little kid following you around asking the most obvious questions for several hours. And no matter how much they learn, even the slightest hint of anything new leads to a barrage of new questions. I'm surprised the MC knows how to BREATHE without being told how to do it.
Hi everyone, obligatory author review here. I've been playing around with this concept for quite a while and wanted to create something that I would have fun reading myself. My goal is for a clean and fast paced novel with an abundant amount of cliff hangers. Hope you guys enjoy!
Can we just appreciate how DANGEROUSLY good Gu Nanyin is at talking? Every line she speaks is calculated, sharp, and absolutely devastating. When Liu Wan'er tries to defend Gu Qinglian, Gu Nanyin doesn't even raise her voice. She just asks: "Why do you think the concubine willingly moved to the worst courtyard in the estate?" And that single question dismantles Liu Wan'er's entire argument. No shouting, no drama, just cold logic that leaves no room for rebuttal. And then her exchange with Gu Qinglian later — "Did those twenty lashes not wake you up? Now you remember we're sisters?" — I literally said YES OUT LOUD. The way she flips Gu Qinglian's own manipulation against her is chef's kiss. But what I love most is how each character has a distinct voice. Gu Qinglian's dialogue is all demands and entitlement — "You've gone too far," "Couldn't you have defended me?" She never once says sorry. Liu Wan'er's voice is hesitant, easily swayed, full of doubt. And Gu Nanyin? Her words are precise surgical instruments. Every sentence cuts. The shopkeeper trembling beside them while Qin Xue talks about buying entire streets — that side character's fear says so much without a single word of dialogue. The author really knows how to let characters speak through their actions too.
