very good enticing storyline. love how strong erica character is. hats off to the author. one of my fav authors.
love this one
out of all the books I've read, this book is by far the most amazing it had let me felt the despair of shayla even only in the screen. cause most of the books more on cliché about a home wrecker but this books lets you feel a trauma and be more considerate towards the victims. thank you for this.
SoooGood............
I'm happy for a 3rd update today but the last update is almost the exact same as the 2nd update today and I had to pay 22 coins for it
Hopefully more of this book would be brilliant
some one please spoil me about the beginning. was he sleeping with Claudia and cheating on Ariana when Ariana saw him masturbating in the closet?
I love this book! I hope a sequel is in the works… ......
Can we just take a moment to appreciate how good He Jin's dialogue is in these chapters? Because honestly, his voice is so distinct and I love it. Every time he speaks, you know it's him. There's this perfect balance of arrogance, sarcasm, and this underlying warmth that he barely lets show. Let me give you some examples because they're too good: "Sorry, I have no obligation to add strangers on WeChat." That line alone tells you everything about who this character is. Cold, dismissive, but also somehow funny because of how blunt he is. And then there's this exchange with Shen Yutang: "You really want me to crush Fu Hansheng?" "Of course I'm serious," Shen Yutang replied, looking puzzled. "Can't you crush him with your skills?" The way He Jin teases her, the way he plays with the word "crush"—it's flirtatious without being obvious about it. And his response when she says she doesn't like Fu Hansheng anymore? "My young lady, you said the same thing last time." That's such a perfect He Jin line. He's skeptical, he's mocking, but there's also this hint that he's actually paying attention to what she says. Fu Hansheng's dialogue is also really well done, just in a completely different way. He's all short, clipped responses. "Hmm." "It doesn't matter, I won't accept her confession anyway." "Playing hard to get, delusional." The author uses his sparse dialogue to reinforce his aloof, cold personality. You can feel his irritation and disdain through what he doesn't say as much as what he does say. Su Ruanruan's voice is another highlight. She's got this sweet, slightly manipulative quality to her dialogue. "Hansheng, do your best, okay?" and "In my eyes, you'll always be the champion~" That tilde at the end is such a specific character choice—it tells you everything about how she presents herself. And then there's Zhou He, who provides comic relief with lines like "Girl, that can't be right? Didn't you like him? Didn't your heart used to bubble with sweet love hearts every time you saw him?" The narrative voice itself is also worth mentioning. It's this omniscient third person that has its own personality—slightly snarky, observant, with a good sense of humor. Lines like "Bubble your second uncle's grandpa" as Shen Yutang's internal response show that the narrator is in on the joke. The author's voice shapes the whole reading experience here, making it feel like you're being told a story by someone who actually finds these characters entertaining.
Good story but abrupt end!
