I need to talk about Jiang Yucheng because this man is absolutely chilling. The moment Jiang Muyan says she'll go to the countryside and the police can find their biological daughter, his internal monologue drops a bomb: "If things really didn't work out, he could just follow his biological daughter's suggestion and eliminate Jiang Muyan, cutting off the problem at its root." CUT OFF THE PROBLEM AT ITS ROOT. This is a man who, when he thought Jiang Muyan wasn't his biological daughter, was already mentally planning murder. And the worst part? He genuinely believes his biological daughter is worth more. He calculates that she was raised in a wealthy household and will marry into a better family, so the benefits will only increase. He's literally valuing human beings like stocks. Meanwhile Liu Fangmei's whole backstory comes out — she swapped the babies because the other family was better off, the husband was a soldier with a high salary. She did it supposedly for their daughter, but really it was pure greed wrapped in maternal excuse. And Jiang Yucheng? He knew. He stayed silent for over ten years. These two people built a life on a lie and now they're panicking because the victim is fighting back. The scene where Jiang Yucheng softens his tone and says "for the sake of our father-daughter relationship all these years" while internally calculating whether it's cheaper to pay her or let her go to prison — that contrast is absolutely masterful. He's not pretending to care about her. He's doing math.
Why were the family members ill treating Elara it's really unfair none it was her fault, I like that she found were she belonged adapted so quickly and started training again, the writer is doing a good job so far keep it up

I thoroughly enjoyed reading the first chapter? The protagonist's dark past is truly heart wrenching, and the way it's written makes me feel like I'm right there with him, experiencing his emotions firsthand. ☺️The author has done an excellent job of crafting a compelling narrative that draws the reader in.?

I have been enjoying the story and interaction with the author immensely so far! Baldwin is an incredibly interesting part of the story that I guarantee will leave you wanting more chapter by chapter. The world-building really take the lead though, although the characters are nothing to overlook. Baldwin, the Demon King was unique in that he pursued peace, he was distinct in his wisdom and ability to defy expectations. I highly suggest giving this a read.
This book cured my Depressive state by transporting me to a fantasy world where such novelties don’t exist. All in all a great book, even better author!
