If she's a schemer who's bewitched the emperor, the empire could fall. She's weighing one woman's life against the stability of the entire nation. And Qin Feng's worry about 'Alan' — telling her to keep watch — shows how deeply the surveillance network runs. Everyone is being watched. Everyone is a potential threat. The tension here is suffocating in the best way because you know something is going to explode and we're all just waiting for it.
