This book gets crazier & fascinating with each chapter. I never cried so much or was on edge while reading a book. It left a strong impact. It has great characters, plot, and great writing (I especially love the metaphors and symbolisms). It’s thrilling to read. The author is amazing, support her!

Fellow Daoists, I humbly ask you to grant me a pinch of your wisdom and vast experience in the Dao of Reading. Would it be possible for the elder brothers to recommend cultivation novels with Op characters? It's not necessarily necessary to have a system, nor is it necessary for the protagonist's cultivation to take off like a rocket, just a fast pace or a dominating cheat is enough to satisfy my momentary pleasures. I read till about chapter 300+ but stop when I saw he exchanged his retainer for a magic mines. For some reason it doesn't sit well with me when he sold his comrades for a mere mine. Imo, his character is ambiguous at most. He didn't exactly evil but not a good character either. The story itself is entertaining. Although, there's some minus that kinda hard to overlook.
1. it's obvious that this story was translated by several different translators (or even machine translator) so there's a lot of inconsistency on the naming things.
2. The change of phase between chapters are also kinda absurd, so sometimes I had to recheck to make sure I didn't miss any chapter.
Overall it's a fun things to read but it couldn't captivate me till the end due to the lack of decent translation and the character development.
