Ok. The novel quality itself is good but It have too much plot armor. I cannot stand it anymore, the plot armor is very obvious and not logical. It prevents the MC from making money when there are already so many ways to do so but prevented by shallow excuses. Like in the ancient ruin, it is obvious that they prevented disaster but was not rewarded. Second, when he was provoked by iron adventurers, if it is common sense he will make those to pay for damages instead he willingly pay for it. Then it was when they killed a wolf, it was said that they can profit from it but they chose not because they have no knives and many more. Hayst if he was broke he must be eager to earn money but he was against common sense.

I dont know why you people like this so much. I have read so many fantasy novels like this that it made me very critical about fantasy novels. First of all, the idea of a broke mercenary with complete limbs and a probable average strength being broke is utterly idiotic. I wouldve understood him being broke if he had lost his limbs or anything or if he lost his strength maybe but this? Hayzz. The story is very bland so much so that this is the same pattern on fantasy novels before with no "Boom" or "Wow" effect on the readers. The depiction of cruelty is quite nice but the others are very much, well, nothing. I feel like the author had no experience reading other fantasy novels that he had no clue what was in it.
