i don't know what you think but when i read the title and the description . i feel the story kinda pointless what are the reasons why mc kill the other mc jusst to complete their task in their own world totaly pointless mc don't even may have conflict with them he jusst kill to gain power no others reason . and i know this may be a f*ck*ng op as f*ck mc that the author failed to build a good work but hey just see this like my last word because i may die when test this poision

The shift in tone from Volume 1 to Volume 2 was too sudden, and the introduction of numerous characters without adequate development left much to be desired. In Volume 1, the main character reflects on his past and deals with those who wronged him, creating an emotional connection through the MC's vulnerability. The treatment he receives due to his attitude towards the girl who falsely accused him is both heartbreaking and understandable, making the character seem broken.
However, Volume 2 introduces a new element abruptly, where the pain from the previous volume seems to fade quickly. The appearance of a character who was hinted at as a confidant in the first volume feels forced, and it would have been more organic if this character had a more subtle presence, perhaps offering advice from the sidelines.
The female characters suffer from a repetitive pattern, with each one briefly sparking interest in the MC before being discarded. While some have more backstory, the MC's avoidance of them makes it difficult to invest in them beyond their stories. The MC's confidant holds the most potential but is underdeveloped, which is disappointing when she could be the central focus.
The narrative shifts between characters like an Agatha Christie novel, making it challenging to follow their individual arcs. A cohesive plot that ties all characters together would have helped, but the book primarily focuses on interpersonal relationships, leaving readers struggling to connect with the characters given their limited screen time.
Despite my initial intention to wait until Chapter 50, the introduction of a split personality disorder with a disturbing tendency in Volume 3, Chapter 10, pushed me over the edge. This sudden revelation not only offends but also undermines the themes of healing and forgiveness established in the first volume.
In conclusion, the author's decision to incorporate such a dark element without proper buildup or context is baffling. My overall dissatisfaction with sexual assault content and the way it was handled leads me to give the story a rating of 1/5, solely because zero is not an option.
If you're seeking an intense, whirlwind romance, this might not be your cup of tea. What draws me to this book personally is its gradual development, or "slow burn." The main characters exhibit a level of logic and maturity that I appreciate. There's no unnecessary drama or pettiness; in fact, the communication between them stands out as exceptionally open, particularly from the female lead (FL). Of course, there will be minor misunderstandings, but the FL and ML resolve them quickly due to their effective understanding of each other.
I haven't finished the novel since the translations are incomplete. It's worth noting that this story doesn't follow the typical instant-love trope found in some other novels.
Now, I must express my disappointment with the translation process. Foxaholic took over and have been releasing chapters incrementally, causing me to pause my reading. It's not the first time this has happened to me with another group's version of a book, and it's quite frustrating. I'm left waiting for them to catch up with my current chapter before I can continue. Sigh, it's truly disheartening.
As far as I can tell, all of it was fixed. There are some strange expressions and slightly strange grammar, but the grammar does get seem to get better and I personally don’t have any problem reading it. Tell me if I’m wrong

MC: 7/10 (smart, clever, and a bit lascivious)
PLOT: 8/10 (the ending was a bit rushed, but overall, it was interesting)
WORLD-BUILDING: 8/10 (It was fascinating to see our MC build his strength, both in the apocalypse and in the modern world)
H-18, harem: 7/10 (I appreciated that there weren't entire chapters dedicated to H-18 scenes, as in other novels. Just stating that "it happened" and moving on with the plot)
Rating: 8/10
COMMENT: Here's a hidden gem that, as usual, is better than its manhua counterpart. Read the entire novel in a week, leading to mental exhaustion several times due to the high number of chapters read per day, but it was worth it. If you're a fan of novels like "I Have a Super USB", "Getting a Technology System", etc.. , this novel is for you.

I absolutely love this story ! I am a huge fan of historical novels and this one rates in my top 5 ever! I love the characters , the interactions..everything . Spoiler alert…….. really enjoy the kindness of the family as well. That is such a breath of fresh air from the usual fighting ,scolding , screaming fillial piety types. There are a few minor grammar inconsistencies , but significantly less than most books I have read-and the author does forewarn us about it! I hope the author will continue to update this amazing story !
