Hi amazing book but umm...question where's book 2 I thought it was going to be in here too
The first volume impresses me with a solid five-star rating. However, the second volume significantly dropped my score by two stars due to the unnecessary and forced introduction of a secondary heroine. This is a common issue in light novels, often resulting in an irritating addition without any substantial benefit to the story.
As others have mentioned, the narrative would have been stronger if it solely focused on the main character (MC) and Yue, as the author effectively built their relationship throughout the first volume. I anticipated more development along those lines in subsequent chapters, but unfortunately, the series took a detour with each new release, adding more heroines. Initially, I could tolerate these additions since the MC appeared disinterested in romantic pursuits with them. But then, he unexpectedly changed his stance, turning into a "soyboy," which contradicted the character arc established in the first volume.
I've lost hope and have decided to stop reading. If you typically enjoy harem stories, proceed with caution, as my personal experience wasn't positive.
The synopsis set the bar very high, let's see how it goes.

as it has the tag "protagonist falls in love first" it is assumed that it has romance, even though it doesn't have the "romance" tag, can anyone who is reading it or has read it can confirm this for me?

The part I hate most about Chinese novels is the audience's reactions. The main character usually encounters these reactions throughout the entire novel. thanks for your comment. I gave up reading this novel
