Why this story is rated at 3.67 stars I have no idea, it might have something to do with the fact that so many pet novels are being released right now on Webnovel. I'm up to date with the latest translated chapter, chapter 182. So far the novel has more of a laid back feel. The MC is slowly developing his power and has taken in some students. Face slapping is part of the plot, but it is not excessive and the MC doesn't come off as a jerk while he does it. There hasn't been any racism in the novel yet except for a minor misunderstanding (MC was not actually being discriminatory, but the onlooker assumed he was), which is a hundred times better than some of the other novels that are currently being released. Although the plot is advancing a little slowly currently, the book is still able to retain my interest and is overall well written.
Pretty much immediately after the novel starts it goes off on racism against anyone not Chinese and the author legit has an event that wipes out pretty much everyone other then china
Not good. Very weird. Read it and see for yourself. The plot is strange and the writing is odd. We get a ton of system novels, but the premise of this one is just odd.
I like the Manhua survival on the deserted island, and I think they kinda similar. Hmm kindom building starting from stone age. Dunno if they will have the same concept but I hope this would be picked.
Alright, I Made a 3.0 star review to this novel before but now i want to take it back... Although the main character pissed me the hell of the start which made me give 3.0 star, he actually reclaim himself at the later story (i like how he's being ruthless), He's the same as Zhang ye though better since he doesn't have the fucking annoying patriotic attitude, anyway recommended for people who enjoys I'm really a superstar.
Sorry for the long review but this my first ever review i have ever written. I don't know about other people but when i read a web novel, i put my self in mc's shoes and think of myself as the protagonist of the story, that's why i mostly read wish fulfillment novels (where the mc gets a harem of virgin girls, dealing with enemies ruthlessly , having iron balls of courage and other general stuff that can never happen in real life).So when i saw the title of this webnovel i immediately refused to read it even when the story description interested me. But my curiosity got the better of me and i read it. And quite frankly it depressed me, i mean who wants to be cucked, humiliated, beaten up and be a wimp. so i wanted to stop reading it .BUTthe plot was very interesting, so i went through the depressing parts just in hope that mc becomes a badass and quiet frankly i was impressed by the character development of the mc.Though he hasn't become a badass, he is on the path of becoming one. i recommend people to read this novel for it's interesting plot and character development.NOTE TO AUTHOR:- i don't care even if joanne was forced or blackmailed into have *** with reid . i just don't want that bitch to become mc's woman , at present mc cut off friendship with her which left me satisfied but if i see any signs of her becoming mc's woman i will immediately drop the novel no Matter how interesting the plot is.
Honestly, it is hard for me to even rate it this highly. The english, grammar, and writing quality itself is subpar. The author really needs another person to go over his work. Its so bad it feels like a draft instead of the final work. The setting changes on a wim and the author seems to forget to tell us some info so we find it later. Almost seems like he is making it up as he goes. Its worse with the skills that are just deplorable how thought out and how badly it is used. None of the skills show proficiency, none of the monsters have a name other than monster until the author feels like it. Then there is the point of messed up names for the classes. The author seems to alive that the mcs class is something like a middle ground for supporters like a sorcerer or something but calls it a magician then another student has the magician class that isn’t support. The f is going on with the classes. Then u can just forget understanding the dialogue between characters bc the authors grammar fails to even explain what’ going on. Basically it is a novel that has an interesting concept that falls short on even the grammar much less the forced plot, and forced characters that are one dimensional ina way I thought wasn’t possible. Then there is the lack of world building that just limits the story even more.
Kudos to the writer, it's a great plot. It's interesting that the hopes of a young bright brilliant man came dashing, just at the peak of commitment to love. This proves love is not always blind, the need to survive when push comes to shove always outweighs feelings. Would love to see more twists..
