A good novel so far, the grammar is not bad it's readable, and the update is daily so that is a plus I hope the author doesn't drop it like other authors.
Author puffs up word count with putting characters whole stat multiple times per chapter. Has long drawn out sequences for no reason over multipe chapters.
the story has so much verbiage, races that are only described once, characters whose development you'll prolly never see again.... IT'S A MESS. It's like somebody built up 10 years' worth of ideas and never had, an second person streamline it.
a story of a guy that let people step on him like nothing, ignorant and stupid, another classic chinese novel where the mc is a chinese that talk like some kind of chosen one and the author write something like "Song Shi did not deliberately let go of his Defense to be killed by the spatial storm. The main reason was that he was getting less and less interested in such things. Instead, he wanted to be a normal person who cultivated normally." a mc stupid enough that think whit a dic* and not head and enemys are stupid and are there only for the shine of the mc i feel like puking... super averenge novel VERY VERY VERY like a hair breath to drop to trash of trash of a novel the author like to say something like divine or dragon or immortal like some rock on the ground EVERY TECHNIQUE IN THE NOVEL 78% OF THEM HAVE NAME LIKE SUPREME,DIVINE, ALWAYS! in this novel even a beggar will say "I CULTIVATE A DIVINE TECHNIQUE!" R.I.P i hope u will not have a head ache when reading bye
Finally, I am leaving myself a shameless author review!SBTRK is a slow-burn romance with lots of political intrigue in a world rife with magic and mythical beasts. There are schemes, fights, squabbles, and an overarching adventure mystery that will unfold with time. Details are scattered everywhere, so do keep a lookout for them! Atticus and Daphne's romance will also start in a rather unorthodox manner. However, things will eventually evolve for them and it will become obvious that not everything is separated into black and white, but rather, the infinite shades of gray in between.Come join the family and set off with me on this journey. I hope you will enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy writing it!
Everything is good but the MCs. Basically their interaction is meant to be funny but it isn't at all. It's was funny at the start but until when are we supposed to find their bratty dispute funny, One is god knows how old he is and the other is more than 30 years old, and they can't get over their first misunderstanding, They keep arguing and fighting with each other like some snotty toddlers.
I very much enjoy the world and the mystery of magic and the MC trying to figure out how it works, but I find myself frequently frustrated by the stupidity of the MC. Also his simping and beta willingness to always take a back seat is not my cup of tea. He falls in love with an NPC. what does this actually mean? it means he doesn't try in sparring matches. He lets her use magic and skills while he doesn't so this love is really him just allowing himself to get beat up and her enjoying beating him up. He never seems to try in matches, which is another reason why the tournament arc killed the novel for me. Tournament arcs are normally bad, but here he takes a back seat for buddies, avoids what he's best at in individual, and then doesn't even try in his matches cause he wants to know what dying feels like. He's just too pathetic to be likable to me. all his greatest moments are just different ways of hating himself and committing suicide for others he cares about more than himself. He's got issues. He even refuses to properly equip himself because he's too busy equipping everyone else because he's not as important as others.
I love how the story goes since I am really, really, interested in knights in shining armors, kings, and queens and all that. Kudos to the author for creating such interesting story. Thumbs up!

Ahem! as I continue to read this I consider myself stopping it as I really hate how he take Selena with him, but as I read more chapters and also think about klautz pov, I started to enjoy this more than I can think, like why hate a woman if you know that she will not betray you while also do willingly what you command to her.I hate the part where Verona interfere when klautz was fighting with Eli, but thinking about it, it was really necessary to do that part as we need it to do some character development as it was boring if she suddenly became survibedient to him. so for that part you really great author.For the lemon part, you also do great at that author that I begun to think if it was based on experience GHAHHAHA but if my hunch is true can you kindly teach me sensei! There was some typo but it was so little that you will not care about it. I also like how thick skinned our mc when they were in that secret room where they first met Verona on the bonus stage. where he do the deed with Selena even she was at that room GAHHAHHA it really turn me on GHAHAHHA and from that part I know that something within Verona will be going to awaken GHAHAHHAH I'm still at the 80s chapters and it was already awesome so I expect that it was more going to get interesting when I caught up
