It had me hooked! Thomas’s struggles with cultivation felt so real, and I couldn’t help but root for him. The Jade Forest was magical, and his determination to keep going was inspiring. I can’t wait to see how he turns it all around!
One of the worst fucking novel I have ever read, hero is like ultra super star, he will fight with everyone, let's say if his cultivation is in stage-1 he will fight with stage-10 people. One of the worst thing is no background development or no creativity in story etc etc etc
It starts off with an interesting premise and then turns into nothing but clichés.Fat best friend, top tier treasures hidden in cheap markets, cold girl who suddenly likes the protagonist after losing to him, poor parents who suddenly turn out to have hidden identities in the capitol, great treasures fighting for the chance to be picked up by him but turns out useless looking treasure was the strongest one there was, kills arrogant noble that turns out had a secret ability to tell his family about his killer, in a team tournament but doesn’t show up till team is almost defeated, plus many more.It’s as if the author has a madlibs of a generic novel and changed the names and abilities a little.Translation is also not great. Names suddenly change all the time, measurements are all over the place(100 meters becomes 100 miles and then 100 kilometers or currency is in yuan or crystals or dollars)It’s a real shame that this novel couldn’t have been better.
I'm giving it a benefit of the doubt as th3 synopsis had me hooked, now as long as the Author delivered what the synopsis says, probably one of most interesting cultivation story I have read
This book needs more creativity, but for your time and effort and ideas put into this, I'll give it a 3 star rating. Also, the update stability is very good and constant.My reason;Almost every event is repetitive. He meets a friend or old colleague, they get a call, he follows them to said locations, he finds out they are in a tough situation, and he bails them out.It's the same everytime, nothing new. Also, in terms of female characters, it would be more interesting if the story was centred around a female rather than many that don't add to the story or give very little.For example, the first lady he met, though, she had a bad personality but it fits real life situations when a lady is looking for one who can help her financially. Honestly, if you worked around her, including her into the story more, things will be more interesting. She doesnt have to be his main love interest, maybe except she change. But story is a gradual process.The high school friend he met, the one he did a grand birthday for, she is so boring. Their interactions doesnt add anything to the story.That's why I said rather than centralising the story around multiple females, choosing one or a few would be much better. It needs proper structuring and this would probably ' truly' become a 4 star novel or higher.That's just an idea, not an absolute, I'm just saying. It doesnt have to be the way I said it. You are the author, and your decision is always wahats best for your story, but let there be a target, proper structure and so on. Thanks for the story, I'll keep reading ?

I keep thinking about that soybean plant. Just one purple flower blooming on a bare stalk, all its leaves gone, standing in the teachers' experimental field while everything around it looks healthy. It's such a small detail but it won't leave my head. There's this recurring motif of things that shouldn't be surviving but are. The mutated cucumber with sharper thorns. Bubu liking radiation of all things. The scaveners at the outer gate who have nothing but keep trying to get inside. Jiang Luokui herself—someone with a spirit plant bond and cultivation ability in a world where those are practically survival cheats, yet she's still counting every credit and worrying about radiation levels on her plot. The purification of Plot 147 being temporary is huge symbolically too. She has to keep pouring spiritual energy into it, keep working, keep fighting just to maintain what she's built. Nothing in this world is permanent. The only constant is effort. And yet she does it anyway. "This damned radiation… when would things return to normal?" That question Jiang Luokui is asking herself isn't just about the environment. It's about everything. The social divide, the mutation rates, the fact that an S-rank ability user is needed just to escort students on a field trip. The story keeps asking this question without ever giving a straight answer, and that's what makes it so powerful.
