Hello Readers, or potential ones. I want to mention the fact that the Mc is evil, or more accurately, does very evil things for the sake of his goals. That doesn't mean he doesn't do good things if he feels like it, so long as it doesn't really bother him. However, some have mentioned that my mc is too soft, but if you're patient enough to read to chapter 9-10, you'll find out he's actually very cruel. If you're still not convinced, be patient and read up to chapter 30. That will clear all the doubts you have. It's a wonderful story and I've gotten a lot of wonderful and positive feedbacks more than negative. I just want you to have this in mind before diving in. You're in for a treat, trust me.PS. From the start he is shown to be evil, however do not be surprised if he does some seemingly good acts. You'll soon find that everything revolves around him.

Absolutely amazing characters and setting, started off strong and here i am caught up and it’s still better than most other books on here. Definitely worth a read.
Can we just appreciate Su Hanchu's internal voice for a second? Because it is TOP TIER. When her mother-in-law threatens to kill herself, Su Hanchu's immediate thought is: "Damn, this plot is so familiar—isn't this the classic 'choose between mother and wife' scenario? And I actually ran into it myself." That's not just funny, that's a whole personality. She's a transmigrator who's read enough novels to recognize the trope and is just... done with it. Her inner monologue has this dry, sarcastic edge that makes her feel like a real person rather than a generic protagonist. She's not swooning or panicking—she's mentally cataloging the absurdity of her situation. And then there's Jun Moye's dialogue, which is basically the opposite energy. The guy says almost nothing. "Su Hanchu." "Come here." "Sit down." His lines are clipped, awkward, barely concealed emotion. When he finally speaks after watching her all day, it's not a romantic speech—it's a gruff command disguised as concern. That contrast between her internal verbosity and his external silence is what makes their dynamic work. Chen Wenqiao's dialogue is equally telling. Every line she speaks is manipulative, guilt-trippy, self-centered. "You are my son, and wherever I am, you must be there too." She doesn't even pretend to care about Su Hanchu's feelings. She just lays down the law. Jun Linfeng, on the other hand, speaks gently but with absolute authority. His dialogue is calm, measured, and every word carries weight. "Wen Qiao, take them. From now on, don't make things difficult for others or for yourself." That's not a request. That's a decree wrapped in courtesy. The author's narrative voice itself is also worth noting—it's third-person limited, mostly following Su Hanchu's perspective, with occasional dips into Jun Moye's. The tone is warm but never saccharine, and it has this slight irony that keeps things from getting too heavy. Even in exile, with people starving and injured, there's a lightness to the prose that makes it readable.

The MC's talent is just a D-rank and yet it's too OP. There are also a lot of things that doesn't make sense in this novel. I wouldn't really recommend reading this novel.

I want to write a villain novel on this garbage. MC need to have his women taken away for his dumb decision. Writer don't have any character building at all. In a real life scenario, mc will die in a dogs death in first day.
