So I went into this story thinking it'd be like all of the other new books and wouldn't be worth reading past the first few chapters, but to my surprise I found myself getting hooked into reading this.So my reasoning for my score is:Translation Quality 4/5Everything seems good so far but these could be translations that days were spent on and when the new chapters hopefully get released we could see a quality drop.Stability of Updates 1/5Yes we got 60 chapters at once but if this story gets picked up I have no idea if we're looking at a once a day or a few times a week in regards to updates, I'll come back and update this if it gets picked up.Story Development 3/5The story seems to be a bit disjointed in terms of tone and the story seems to be rushing from one place to another, hopefully new chapters will improve these things.Character Design 4/5I like the characters in this story quite a bit but many of them are stereotypical and don't seem to be acting like normal people would in certain scenarios so hopefully this will improve.World Background 3/5The World background we see seems to be good but there isn't much outside of those small snippets that we know about the world at this point in time.
All I want to say is that you have a good And wide amagination but somehow you are locking of your phrases, wrong grammar. Although I am not good at it, but I know when I see one.So have some review before releasing it...
I dont like it and i think its waste of time Amateur and mc like child .qJdjdjsjsjjdjdjdjdjdjdjdjdjdjddjjdjdjdjdjdjdjdjdjdjdddhhdjdjdhdhdhhdhdudyeysdd
Honestly, anything is better than the other 3 currently listed...The voting system really needs the votes to be reset each week so we don't get stuck with last week's 2nd best every following week...
nice story everything as of now is good really enjoying just hope author doesnt abondon the story in between
I made it to chapter 50 and decided to drop it. it's an interesting concept, and the mc is working towards the goal he set for himself. BUT the writing started to designate. Run on sentences, no punctuations, and like all stories on here; character name changes.
If you like stories WITHOUT logic, believable characters, and world development... You'll love this. For example : There are vampires who are nighthunters... But can't see in the dark. The same vamp can smell a girl through a locked door but can't find the MC when he's hiding. The very same vampire is so slow that when he's holding a girl's foot and about to kill her:1 the mc arrives. 2. The mc thinks what he should do, runs over to a lamp, grabs the lamp and smashes it on the vampire. 3. The mc grabs the girl and runs away from the vampMakes me wonder how that stupid vampire race hasn't gone extinct already.
It's meh. Every arc is pretty much the same setup:(Old guy): I have derped for so many years, this noob can't possibly out derp me...(MC): we will see about that, let me point out that your derp is really a herp and my derp is the true derp.(Random bystander): for him to be such a master of derp he must must have been derping since before he was born.(FL of the arc): his derp make me so horny, but I know that his derp is too big for me. I must let his go so he can derp in the bigger world...
This is a great book so far. I'm slowly warming up to Aylin and I can definitely see that she has a lot of room to grow and I hope to see a very satisfying character development and progression to the story.. Great job author
Thank you sooooo much for the updates but the cliffhanger is killing me!!! I can’t wait! I’m so excited! I want them together so bad ...
The sensory details in this text are no joke. Let me start with the mother's house—the Soviet-style building from the 1950s, shared water rooms and toilets, coal stoves outside where you could smell everyone's meals. That's not just background, that's a whole era compressed into three sentences. You can smell the dried vegetable porridge before you even reach the door. And then there's the contrast when Bai Xiaotong goes to Lu Ling's neighborhood: "low, single-story houses with small yards," illegal constructions eating up public space, dirt pits and puddles everywhere. She's wearing a red scarf and her "skin was as white as snow" against this backdrop of decay. The visual is almost cinematic. I also loved the detail about the child she tips two cents to fetch Lu Ling—that's such a specific, period-accurate touch. Money meant something different then. And the scene where Li Maihong walks past with her vegetable basket, running into Hu Xiulan and Cao Xiaoli gossiping under a tree, feels like a slice of life that could be from any Chinese factory town in the seventies. The world feels lived-in, not just a backdrop for drama.
I already paid for this book and i was trying to read it again and it appears as if I need to pay for it again
