the book was gonna
Very nice story
This book is so boring and nothing new. The author has 0 creativity! The story revolve around the main character, going to new places to level up, kill all the enemies and move on! The story line is so bad it will shock you for 3days and 3nights! (Often use my the author)
!
very edgy keeps u wanting more for sure
This book is amazing! Happy the author updated it here!
Horrible, story started great but now the author is not updating as needed, the chapters are short, multiple chapters to go over the same timeframe, and it will cost you HUNDREDS to read this book. Don’t do it.
I love this story!!! I'm anxious to find out how history is not going to \\"repeat\\" itself. Hopefully Xavier finds out about Drake before he gives the enemy all the secrets. I want Xavier and her to be together already. Can't wait!
nice story...
It seems like every time Tyler is with Vicky something always happens to Gloria. Selene is a troublemaker. Also 1 chapter a day is so annoying.
I need to talk about the teahouse scene because the atmosphere in this book is genuinely cinematic. The war-torn setting where ordinary people can barely afford food, let alone tea, but merchants profit from disaster? That single detail tells you so much about the world without any exposition dump. Ruan Qingli drinking tea like it's some exotic luxury because she's never had it before - it hit me right in the chest. And then the carriage scene. Oh my god. The rumbling wheels drowning out her soft murmurs, the dim light, the way Han Sheng is described as having to exercise every ounce of self-control while she's completely lost in the drug's effects... The author writes this with such restraint. You can feel the tension in every sentence without it ever feeling exploitative. "Like a flower in full bloom waiting to be picked" - that line about her appearance under the drug's influence is haunting. But what I love most is how the world feels lived-in. The drafty rooms, the cold nights, the fact that Han Sheng doesn't even have a proper quilt. These aren't just background details - they're telling you about these characters' lives. The Di tribes eyeing Youzhou like hungry wolves, the constant threat of war looming over everything. This isn't a world where people can just live ordinary lives. Every scene carries that underlying weight of instability and danger, and it makes every tender moment between Han Sheng and Ruan Qingli feel even more precious because you know how fragile everything is.
