i need more updates!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the story is about a dude who becomes a slave to a spoiled brat and he's fine with that he's not even mad when he becomes her servant he just like ya ok who cares about freedom all I will do for the rest of my life is serve my master and I am ok with that just a slave and his master that's the whole story
Read through the first 56 chapters, the story was nice & definitely had potential, but the lack of editing (especially in the early chaps) makes it somewhat difficult to get really absorbed into the novel itself. There were also some minor inconsistencies with in game data related things, but I'll put that down to grammar and editing too. Just somewhat sad I didn't really feel hooked enough on the story to want to continue reading after chapter 56 when the paywall hit. Thanks for a decent attempt author ❤ but honestly, please go back through the previous chapters and just run it through Microsoft Word or something just so it's a smoother read for us.
A perfectly evil and twisted MC done right
Recommend by webnovel but I don't recommend it to people. Acceptable grammar problems just need some editor. But just few chapters it made me drop reading it. See, the world building is not thought through and the mc is not realistic. The world is said to have spiritualized by the system but the system conversation with the mc feels bs ?. I think it got recommend because it becomes pay2read which is not good enough to be paid. Maybe editors should have help this book as it became recommend but no they did not. Anyways I'm going to stop reading this ?
Does the translator plan to update anytime soon? This way it would take years to finish the story and it will lose it's readers. Hello???????
I dislike how the mc reacts to the situation he’s in. Literally three generations of this dude’s family have been worked to death, to 0 benefit of any kind. Like, is starving to death better or worse than just working nonstop until your body collapses? Some slaves are treated better and exploited less. However 20 chapters in he has not yet changed his situation further than ‘basically a slave’ to ‘slightly more valuable slave’.
Such a great novel. It has the typical elements that all I Eat Tamatoes novels has (by far mostly good ones) so if you've liked the other novels by him you'll like this one. This one does have a unique element however as it's scy-fi cultivation which is much more refreshing and unique. Overall this is curently my favorite of his novels (tied with coiling dragon as that was the first novel I ever read).
Yo I don’t usually do a review this may be the first but I have to tell you that this novel of yours has potential with just the few chapters I read it’s probably something new with all the cultivation and romance novels here
I skipped the tags, and just went straight to reading. Found NTR later and coughed out blood. Sorry author but I'm not into NTR so yeah I dropped it.
It's a very odd story in that the characters are all Western, with names like Finn, Larson, Jones, but there's so many Asian elements: jade pieces, filial duty. Did the translator localise the story to a Western setting or was it originally written that way?In the end, there's eight chapters available of the MC being berated by his in-laws. He was married into the rich family by the family's patriarch, who jaunts off somewhere afterwards. His wife marries him because she was forced to, so there's no affection there at all. It's leading up to him proving he's worth something after all, like Cinderella I guess, but that's all behind a paywall so who knows.
My favorite Chinese web novel of all time. Please translate the rest! Never have I wished to be bilingual more. The MC is the right mix of exciting and grounded enough to be related. The world background provides an actual reason for martial arts instead of just an endless list for power and immortality endemic in cultivator novels. The MC's cheat is not so OP as to ruin the novel - it still feels like he is actually accomplishing things. Power creep is controlled enough to provide some actual tension in regards to the fate of the world without the constant interjection of a new level of enemy that totally invalidates the prior storyline. It's a gem in the sea of trash.
