good read?
waiting for the next chapter
Okay so let me just say this out loud — the Yang family dynamic in this chapter is absolutely unhinged in the best way possible. I cannot stop thinking about Yang Tiechui. The man literally spits on Old Shen's face and then YELLS that his uncle is the factory director while his sister is standing right there wishing she could dig a hole and crawl in. The blind sibling love is both adorable and deeply embarrassing. But here's what really got me — when Yang Jiujin finds out Fu Ziheng might be infertile, his immediate reaction isn't anger or betrayal. It's concern for his daughter's future happiness. And then when Tiehua says she'll give them a chubby grandson, her father's response is basically 'my daughter is perfect, she would never hit someone without reason.' I was wheezing. This man has zero critical thinking when it comes to his kids. But honestly? It's kind of beautiful. They're rough, loud, and completely unhinged — but they love her fiercely. The scene where a dozen relatives show up at the hospital with ribs, meat, and rabbit candy is one of the warmest things I've read in a long time. Nobody questions whether she deserves it. Nobody says 'maybe you should be nicer to your husband.' They just bring food and leave. That's the kind of family I want. And then there's Fu Ziheng. The man walks in, sees his wife crying, and immediately hands her a hot water bag. He says he's infertile. She KNOWS he's not — she had twins with him in her previous life. So what's going on here? Is he protecting her from something? Is he testing her? Because if the original host married him knowing he was infertile just to avoid having kids, then Fu Ziheng has been carrying that secret alone this whole time while she treated him like garbage. That changes EVERYTHING about how I see their relationship. I need to know what's really going on with him.
great book!!! loved it!!
I just saw the cover and I'm already interested in reading. This is so gonna be in my library.
This book has kept me glued to my phone, I totally love it, good work......
The book was entertaining, essentially a light-hearted high school romance. It stirred up nostalgic feelings for me at times due to its resemblance to my own teenage experiences. However, I started losing interest towards the climax when the focus shifted more towards supporting characters and the dynamics within the class, rather than the central love story. Fortunately, it didn't suffer a major decline like many other danmei novels do.
Once the main characters realized their shared facade as slacker personas, the romance seemed to stall, and the plot meandered without direction, introducing unnecessary side arcs, such as the Basketball subplot, which had no romantic element. The author seemed to use these as an excuse to give screen time to the other characters, even intruding on the private moments between the main couple. Even minor characters became active participants in disrupting their moments, which was quite amusing.
Seems like my second reply made it confusing,
I meant reckless.
Being forced to a situation doesn't mean you're reckless and there's nothing wrong with plot armor for these kind of situation.
What my first comment meant was, the type of mc who recklessly risking his life (and others) on a whim.
For example
So there's 2 level 100 guy fighting, the mc party is average level 5, knowing the danger is immense and there's totally chance for his party member dying, he still goes there because reason like "there might be treasure there"
This is different from mc party just traveling than suddenly got caught in high level being fight and trying to survive
First is intentionally seeking death betting on plot armor to save the day
The second is being forced to a situation where death might come, while maybe also get treasure
I guess pill poison is nonexistent in this novel too :/
when will this update? its already wednesday
So cute. I love it!!!
Since there weren't any comments and it was an ongoing novel I was going to not read it at first. But I'm glad I changed my mind. This is one of the most interesting wn I have read so far. And it wasn't stretched out for like 3000+ chapters. I'll give it a recommendation
Wait. This can’t be the end the ending was rush no matter how you see it.
