Let's talk about stakes because this book doesn't mess around. Ming Shu goes out with literally one maid to meet an informant, and the man tries to grab her. Tang Li's scream nearly pierces eardrums, the servant boy gets knocked unconscious, and Ming Shu's wrist is left red and swollen. This isn't background danger—this is the story telling you that the world outside the mansion walls is actively hostile. And yet the bigger threat is inside those walls. The Emperor is recalling regional generals. Yan Wei is being summoned to the capital. A princess might be married off to curb military power. Ming Shu's cousin-by-marriage status puts her in the crossfire of political maneuvering she doesn't fully understand. She tries to brush it off with humor—'at worst I'll become a nun'—but the narration undercuts that immediately: 'But she hadn't even tasted the vexing sweetness of love yet!' The author is stacking external threats (the burly man, the Emperor's decree, the journey to the capital) against internal ones (unspoken feelings, the storybook that exposes her life, Cui Zhen's attention). Every scene raises the temperature. By the time Yan Wei tells her to pack and accompany him, you realize this isn't a rescue—it's a relocation. She's being moved into closer proximity with the very person whose world she's about to enter, and she has no idea what she's walking into. The wrist bruise is the smallest injury in this story, and it's the one that hurts the most to think about.
Nice story not gonna lie I enjoyed reading this but I think the mc is lunatic or this is all just his dream or something like that. But the story has a nice plot
I enkoyed the story, the character is likable and the development and tension is good. Not that it is a bad thing, but based on certain patterns , it seems sometimes very obvious the chapters have been edited by a software that starts with G and end T. But it still feels like the story is an original work. I don’t see as checking your grammar with software like that a problem .I would personally prefer some larger moments of breathing between tension. Sometimes it gives vibes of a battle series. One thing after another with no room to sit back and take it all in.I recommend it.
Firstly, I love the title. ☺️ second Nile is going through a lot sincerely feel bad for him and hope things get better ? awesome novel keep it up.
I love how you started Chapter 1. I don’t judge a book by just a chapter, but My Not So Sweet CEO is a dramatic love story brimming with tension and fate. Keep it up!

Hello, honest review. The concept and plot is good, as well as the power systems, and the world building is great, but there is one only problem..... the language you used is not easy to understand. Well i understand it pretty well, but if you want to reach the heart of many people, you can use simpler terms in your narration.
