As of chapter 40, this novel can be summed up in one word 'confusing'. It's as if the author decides to write ten horror stories that's happening at the same time. Of course, it'll be confusing. But it might not be as bad if there're better introduction and descriptions of each of the horror stories. Instead, all of them just got randomly thrown out. I get it. It's supposed to be a confusing time in their world, but the readers shouldn't be as confused. Most often than not, readers get thrown into a different scenario shortly after starting the first one, with no transition. I was like 'what? what just happen?' all the time. The MC is also not the brightest cookie and a bit contradictory. He's trying to stay under the radar of the government since he got this human-skin book/scroll that can ****, but he goes to a buffet to eat for >5 hours straight each day without ever leaving to use the restroom while his stomach is still flat. How is that flying under the radar?Right now, there's no plot and no direction. I wouldn't mind the lack of them if the horror stories are more organized. I would have stayed just for those horror stories. Unfortunately, the way they're being written isn't enough to keep me here. Sad :(
Okay so, I read a lot and I mean like I have an entire room filled with books which I have read atleast thrice or four times. I am a bookworm and one that loves quality and creativity. I am also a part-time unproffesional author and what I have just read blew my mind. A lot of hooks that grab the readers attention, not very heavy eastern fantasy which allows everyone to bond to the story and the interesting aspect of the MC. Van, well he is not one of those shallow MC’s who are either very good or very bad. We can see Van’s *****ness somethimes but somethimes we see his cunning and decisive actions. And these are not exaggerated, these are exactly what children are capable of. Introducing the eastern fantasy culture and aspect, the story is realistic in its own plot! I love it! I shall rain stones upon this glorious author and wish him good luck. I too hope to join the author community in the following months and I would definitelt like to talk with the Lord of Potatoes about character building’
Firstly to begin with the title, it states the thing clearly which is inside, of course that is cultivation. But it exceeded my expectations as the MC isn't a destitute dude who is in dire need to cultivate to gain a reputation as it mostly happens in such books. Secondly what makes it more different is the crafting of MC Zhu Long, who isn't a weakling since the very beginning which is the common cliche of such plotlines, instead he is living well with his other abilities. Quoting the plotline furthermore, the author did a good job while starting with the tinge of mysterious mark, and the certainties are kept upto the chapters, that I didn't even bother to read the chapter titles, and couldn't keep my eyes off the prose. As to conclude it ISN'T A CLICHE CULTIVATION thing, I've read many books in this genre but there was only till now that I found completely UNIQUE in true sense regarding the list of magical fantasy. This will remain in my library from now as it is different for sure in the huge pile of cultivation.Lastly criticising about the narration style, I'd like to make a few things before you step over the author with your ire. It happens when you are binge writing that authors couldn't point out their own blunders, I admit that there are a few errors regarding unnecessary switching of the tenses and punctuation but the plotline will keep you hooked badly that readers can close their eyes to such flaws, they won't cause any hindrance to the flow of reading. I'd like to sum up my review by stating the quality, author has a define style when it comes upto the enhancing and effectiveness of the dialogues, the world is crafted out very beautifully that you can get the whole image of the cliff and the surrounding bushes, along with the other residents. There are heaps of books under cultivation theme but what makes this one different is solely based on the presentation of the MC, his soliloquies, thoughts, relationships, urges and wishes along with the other people who are near him. Most of the authors in this genre fail to touch the depth of the MC, and a reader couldn't get closer in understanding the MC, and questions bearing WHY remains unsettling which drags down the story and results in the failure. As others stated that this book is not comparable to other top ones, I'd honestly say that author will get it to the top soon, as he will improve gradually.
And here I thought the beginner story is that he saw the wishing star, wish for a second life then suddenly the wishing star change direction and hit him instead

I am giving it full 5 stars because it is interesting.I like everything about it.. although I sometimes feels like he is been overly cautions.. but it make later it makes sense what he is did is correct. I just want to say.. why didn't he upgrade the mobile phone.. I am sure it will help him alot in finding out information if he got the system out of it. Then he can ask about his parents too.But overall it's amazing story.. I hope it will not decrease in the future of the novel.
??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
so far pretty good, story feels smooth and easy to read, events make "sense" and dont feel rushed, so grammar and writing is good mc feels intelligent and quick to adapt, so please keept it that way.id also really like to see a zombie survival novel with a necromancer, but thats just a suggestiongood story so far
I see nothing wrong bc it such a great, great. At first I thought it was one of those simple and similar BL but this one was quite different. Maybe it’s bc I haven’t read a lot more yet but this is a great piece that I enjoy very much.
Great story, bro! I've really enjoyed it from the very first chapter to the latest one. You've got something special here. However, I have a suggestion: consider drawing inspiration from Japanese sports manga and anime, especially when it comes to adding emotional depth. Series like Diamond no Ace or Haikyuu!! excel at incorporating sad or challenging moments without diving too deep into dark themes. Right now, it feels like you're introducing some really heavy, dark elements that don't quite fit the tone of a sports story, which should be more about youth, energy, and the spirit of competition. It's totally fine to have the main character face struggles on their journey to the top, but there are more fitting ways to explore those setbacks without turning every 50 chapters into a tragedy. You’re crafting an excellent story, and I truly believe it could be even better if you lightened up on the darker elements.I love your work, and I genuinely appreciate your storytelling. I just wanted to share my thoughts because I think your story has the potential to be even more enjoyable. Keep up the great work
