It's a wonderful story. A reincarnation tale that steers clear of the isekai genre. Instead, it's a slice-of-life narrative where the protagonist uses the powers gained from reincarnation to help achieve his dreams.

I don’t understand why readers on NU keep giving low ratings because they can't see character development. If you're desperate for character development, you might want to read books tagged as "New York's Best Seller"; it seems like you should be reading those kinds of books.

The translation is quite decent. It's not so bad that it feels like you're reading a machine-translated work. Those who give poor reviews based on the translation are either too picky, act like they know everything, or have very low reading comprehension.

The book is well-written, and the story is laid-back. If you've watched or read "Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill," you'll find a similar vibe when reading this one. The movies and series the author describes are captivating, and reading those scenes will make you feel like you're watching a real movie. I particularly enjoyed the films "Over the Rainbow" and "My Clinic" (the series where the protagonist grapples with whether he's using his ability just right or overusing it).

The main character has lived multiple lives, some short, some long, but he has never been human in any of them. He is always a monster.

All the books present stories where he dies young. These include tales of weak monsters and monsters with short lifespans. He can't even estimate the number of books here.

From these lines, you can understand how many lives he has led and how many deaths he must endure to achieve a peaceful life in a human body.

So, what kind of character development do people expect from him? If I were a god and saw the main character go through all those lives, I would place him in a world where he could live a peaceful, fulfilling, and easy life.

Some might think he's overpowered because of the library. Not true. He practices and learns for each role he takes on. He studied the violin, learned to dance, and even acted. He practiced and waited for eight months to perfect his role as a villain. The books and his ability only provide the aura he needs for the role, making it more realistic and closer to what he wants. He still does the acting himself (you'd have to be pretty dumb to think it's all thanks to the ability).

I really enjoyed this novel! Initially, I was a bit skeptical based on some of the reviews, but once I started reading, I couldn't put it down and finished it in one sitting. One reviewer mentioned that the main character (MC) acts like a child despite living through thousands of lives, but this is actually well-explained in the story. The MC deliberately seals away his memories to prevent one life from influencing another. He only accesses these memories when he feels mentally prepared. As a result, when he is reborn, he genuinely remembers nothing. Additionally, his only human life was his first one, which he clearly states he doesn't remember at all, and his early memories don’t describe how the world works. Therefore, in terms of understanding human society, he is very much like a newborn.

Regarding the criticism that there's no character development and that he relies solely on his cheat skills, I strongly disagree. We see him make mistakes and realize that what he thought was right was actually wrong, such as in the "My Clinic" death scene. Moreover, while his skills certainly help him stand out, he still has to put in the work. He’s not just relying on his abilities; he’s a genuinely talented actor.

I also love reading about the new movies and dramas he creates, how he brings them to life, and the public's reactions. My favorites so far have been "Blue Dragon" and, of course, "Over the Rainbow." The scenes with the children in the play and the way "Over the Rainbow" was promoted, shot, and transcended being just a movie gave me literal chills.

As you progress through the novel, the translation can get a bit quirky at times, but if you can overlook that, it’s a really engaging and enjoyable read.

I absolutely adore the main character and the diverse lives we get to explore through his journey! The pacing is perfect, and I never find the story boring. I deeply appreciate the growth of the characters surrounding Seojun and the relationships he forms along the way. This story has captured my heart, and I eagerly anticipate each new chapter.

Translation 2/5 - Very poor and inconsistent. It seems to be machine-translated and lazily proofread. The main character's name keeps switching between Seojoon and Seojun. Come on, it’s the main character’s name; at least get that right. I got so confused, thinking there was another character.

The translation, unfortunately, is quite poor. It’s an MTL (machine-translated) version that is barely comprehensible, with many parts that don’t make sense and disrupt the flow of the narrative. I really want to keep reading, but the unedited machine translation makes it very difficult to follow and enjoy the story. If there were a better translation, I would definitely give it another try, but for now, I can’t continue because the current version is too messy to immerse myself in.

For me, this is a good and relaxing story, something I turn to when I'm tired of reading novels filled with endless problems. Regarding the plot, I do agree that there's some repetitiveness, but each movie Seojun acts in is really interesting to read and often has similar aspects to Seojun's past life. I especially enjoyed the music-related storyline.

One thing I don't like about the novel is how others take advantage of Seojun's popularity. This has been evident from early chapters, such as when Seojun's uncle wanted a collaboration with Baby Seojun and later tried to recruit him to his agency. However, it's still acceptable because they help Seojun's family a lot, and his uncle always does his best for Seojun's career, giving him the freedom to choose which movies he wants to act in.

**Spoiler**: Later on, a bankrupt production company regains its footing solely because of Seojun's name. Additionally, the movie characters Seojun plays will also be portrayed by Evan and Rachel, Hollywood actors from the Shadowman movie. What a jackpot, right? At least the company’s ownership changes, similar to how Seojun's uncle took over the agency.

Regarding the translation, it can be a bit off sometimes, but I really appreciate the effort, as reading machine-translated works can be challenging due to vague names and character genders. Also, the order of the translated chapters and the raw chapters is different; translated chapter 161 corresponds to chapters 122/123 in the raw.

Despite the good and bad aspects of the novel, I still recommend it. So, please give it a try and happy reading!

This is a very engaging reverse isekai showbiz novel. However, it can be somewhat repetitive with similar story arcs and lacks a clear antagonist, whether minor or major.

I’m still in the early stages of the protagonist’s life, which is both a plus and a minus. The character development is well-fleshed out, but I’m eager to see more adult roles and scenarios.

I’ve taken a break at chapter 378 because my interest is waning, but I plan to return to it later.
