Also called Xu Ge Lao. A disciple of Xu Shaohu who climbed to his position through family connections and Xu Shaohu's patronage. He proposed a plan to ruin the Goryeo tribute using literary references to King Jingzong's poems. He feels threatened by Xu Shaohu's attention to Zhang Taiyue.
