Also referred to as Commander Zhou or General Zhou, a man in his forties with a square, tanned face marked by deep lines. He is strong and humble, personally leading Dr. Cao to the patients and coordinating medical staff. He is Commander of the temporary medical site and a close friend of Cao Xiu's older brother. Though skeptical of the master-apprentice duo initially, he trusts Cao Xiu's character and helps ease tensions with Director Yu.
