Also known as Yao Meizi or Sister Yao, she was Zhao Changgeng's daughter who was kidnapped and trafficked to a northern village. She was locked in a cellar by a villager who couldn't marry. She suffered three miscarriages, her body broken, and died weighing less than 50 kilos. She took her own life within a year of being found.
