Male, Zhou Qiaoxiu's husband, a police officer who holds a high-ranking position in the municipal bureau. He is referred to as Lao Xu by his wife. He led the police team to search Benlong Park and had people guard the train and bus stations after the baby went missing. He does not believe Meimei intentionally lost the baby and thinks Zhou Qiaoxiu is being unfair to their adopted daughter. He returned home after dark, exhausted from searching, and comforted Meimei when she was crying.
