Also known as Madam Zhang, she is the Dongjia (owner) of Qiqiao Pavilion. Gu Qiaoqiao had met her previously. She left for the capital the day before Gu Qiaoqiao's last delivery and only sent word for Chen Guanshi to handle receiving goods. Her absence explains why the shop did not actively seek out Gu Qiaoqiao.
