The protagonist and narrator of the story. Born on the Qingming Festival in 1998, more than two months premature, beside a solitary grave. Suffered from Xiebing (a supernatural illness) from age ten, enduring a year-long fever and delirium. A Kanshi Xiansheng performed a Chongxi ritual for her at age ten, giving her a spiritual husband. She carries a Longxing Yupai jade plaque that protects her. Despite her mother's warnings, she attends university and begins to question the Chongxi custom. She is a sophomore in college, has long slightly curled black hair, and is described as having great luck, narrowly escaping death multiple times.
