A young feng shui master who came to Xue Jingyao's village when she was ten years old. He diagnosed her Xiebing illness and proposed the Chongxi ritual as the only cure. During the ritual, he held a large red rooster and chanted incantations including Hongyue Zhiye and Longwang Quqin. He gave Jingyao the Longxing Yupai jade plaque to protect her. He is portrayed as knowledgeable in supernatural matters and decisive in his actions.
