Also known as Tun Grandpa or Uncle Tun, a man in his fifties (appears younger) with a tall, broad-shouldered build, dark skin, and a scar across his square face. He once ran goods and fought the Japanese. His family's distillery, the Xu Family Brewery in the county town, was shut down two years ago due to class reclassification. He remains the most respected figure in the village and helps Xu Hehua with official matters like adoption paperwork and calendar checking.
