A two- or three-year-old boy, the son of Gu Linchen and Feng Ge'er. He is small, fragile, and malnourished, wearing patched clothes altered from adult garments. He is timid and frightened, often hiding behind his father Feng Ge'er. He has never tasted an egg before, which Gu Linchen shares with him as a gesture of kindness. The original Gu Linchen would hit the child when in a bad mood, which is why Xige'er is deeply afraid of his father figure.
