Also called Wang Erzhu, a laborer who worked on the construction project. His daughter was nearly dead from illness (pneumonia developed from a cold) and he could not afford medicine. After receiving his wages, he was moved to tears and kowtowed repeatedly. He offered to work for Shang Ruoyi for life in gratitude after she cured his daughter.
