A woman from the village whose tragic story Wang Sansuo recounts. Her parents married her off to a sixty-year-old man for two bolts of cloth, then after he died, to his blind nephew for two chickens and six ducks. The poultry was given to her brother's tutor as tuition, leading the village to call her brother the Six-Duck Scholar.
