Female supporting character. Jiang Yubai's mother. She worked as a maid in the Lin family home in the past. She is devoted to her son and her unborn great-grandson (Jiang Yuning's child). She prepared and delivered the poisoned chicken soup to Lin Jianxue using a folk remedy from their village, as devised by Jiang Yuning. She shares a knowing glance with Jiang Yubai about the empty bowl, satisfied that the plan worked. She rents an apartment in Beijing for Jiang Yuning and frequently delivers food to her.
