A burly, fierce-looking fishmonger at Covent Garden who initially tries to lowball Arna, offering only sixteen shillings and eight pence for her eels and perch. He is dismissive of her fish as pitifully small and refuses to haggle. He is interrupted by Molly and later by the wealthy lady who outbids him.
