The youngest son of the Qizhou Zhizhou. He was originally meant to marry Ji Xinran but after being injured in his lower body (making him unable to perform as a man), the Tan family married Ji An to him instead. He is upright in conduct but extremely pedantic, and he disliked Ji An's beauty, learning, and independent mind. He intentionally neglected Ji An, leading to her death from melancholy.
